A/N: Thanks to xXLouisaMalfoyXx for this story idea. This fanfic doesn't really take place in a specific spot in the actual book series. Enjoy!
Ro stared glumly at Sophie and Keefe talking together under the Panakes tree from her post. Just another day of watching (and listening, thanks to her outstanding ogre senses) to Sophie being completely oblivious while Keefe flirted with her. Ro sighed. If Keefe had just listened to her all that time and just told Sophie he liked her he wouldn't be in this position now.
Just then, Ro heard a rustle. She immediately went into full alert mode and started looking for a Neverseen member.
But there was no Neverseen member. Instead, there was Edaline, wearing a super realistic grass disguise suit and inching on her belly toward Sophie and Keefe with a disguised microphone.
Ro stared. What the heck was Edaline doing? But Ro had not been battle training since she was a month old for nothing. She went on her stomach and army-crawled toward Eda.
"What on earth are you doing?" Ro hissed. Was Edaline a member of the Neverseen? Was she trying to track down a rare carnivorous insect to train it to be a vegetarian? Was she completely insane?
Edaline turned her head so fast that Ro thought it might fall off. "I thought you were Grady." she gasped. "I'm spying on Sophie and Keefe because they're adorable but Sophie's so oblivious it's giving me a headache."
Ro barely suppressed a giggle. Warrior ogre princesses do not giggle. "Welcome to my life," she said, sighing. "Every day I barely stop myself from locking them in a small closet until Sophie figures it out."
"We should do that! Honestly, I doubt Sophie will figure it out ever if we don't do something about it" Edaline giggled. Edaline did not have a problem with giggling.
And so unofficially began the Sokeefe Fanclub. Every other day, they'd meet in an old storage shed (which Edaline promptly started to decorate), brainstorm ways to get Sophie and Keefe to start dating, and, of course, get them married. They even got some wedding decorations.
One time, Grady found them in the middle of doing their Sokeefe secret handshake, which unfortunately contained a lot of shouting 'SOKEEFE 4 EVA' They barely managed to find a cover story (they ended up explaining that a 'sokeefe' was a human thing that was cool).
Edaline and Ro decided that they would try setting up a perfect date for Sophie and Keefe before resorting to the closet idea. Much to the annoyance of Sandor, who complained that Ro couldn't keep dumping her charge on him. (But secretly he was a hardcore Sokeefe shipper so it didn't matter.)
"Okay, so what we need to do is pretend we're having a grownup party and Sophie and Keefe are not invited, so we send them somewhere else, and that 'somewhere else' will be where we've set up the perfect date?" Ro asked.
"Exactly" Edaline half squealed. "And if Keefe doesn't find a 'perfect moment' to tell Sophie outright that he likes her, into the closet they go."
"Yay!" Ro squealed (which she immediately regretted, as that was very unwarriorprincesslike)
And so it happened. When Sophie and Keefe timidly told Edaline and Ro that they were dating, there was much squealing and fangirling and secret sokeefe handshaking. Sophie and Keefe were extremely confused when Ro and Edaline launched into their 'Sokeefe 4 eva' dance routine (it had gotten upgraded to being a whole dance).
The wedding decorations came into good use in a couple years when Keefe proposed. (and yes, Ro and Eda were totally eavesdropping when that happened) Grady was even more confused when he saw his wife and an ogre princess doing a 'Sokeefe 4 eva' dance routine at Sophie's wedding reception.
Sophie and Keefe lived (mostly) happily ever after.
And Ro and Edaline never let them forget about how the Sokeefe fanclub started it all.
A/N: hahahahahahaha i could totally see this happening. Hope you enjoyed! If you did pls vote, comment, and share. Bye!
