BETTYS pov

after giving our order to pop while were walking to find a booth to sit we walked into someone we never thought we would and never wanted at least i never wanted to and it was Gladys jones

here is the thing jugs mom never liked or maybe even hates me she never liked while me and jug were dating she said i am a ''cooper'' and i am not good enough for him at first i was hurt and believed her but jug always told me to never believe her jugs sister jellybean likes me a lot when we were in high school she used to call me sister in law

JUGHEADS pov

while me and Betty were finding a booth we walked into someone my mom we didn't knew she was in town why did my dad didn't told me she was in town

G- hey jug how are you

she tried to hug but i pulled away

J - i am good just visiting dad

G - ya i know he told me

B - its nice to meet you mrs jones

G - yeah whatever

no matter how someone behaves with Bettys she always tries to be nice with everyone but i really dont know why mom gives her this attitude

i didn't had a great childhood but betty was always there for me and what my mom did she ran away i know that my dad was not in a great shape either but he worked on himself and got so much better he always accepted my relationship with betty and he was also supportive when i told him that i was gonna propose betty i was nervous but he told me that it will be ok

J - you know what mom we are busy right now

G - yeah i will see you tomorrow

J - wait you are coming

G - of course where do you think i am staying

then we walked away and sat down and within few minutes our food came i was eating slowly bcoz after seeing my mom but betty finished her first burger faster than me i m sure our baby is gonna have my apetite

B - jug jug

B - i have calling your name for 5 minutes

J - yeah sorry i was just thinking something

B - about your mom

J - maybe

B - hey jug look at me dont let ruin your happy mood that you had

she said holding my hand

she is right i wont let my mom ruin my the happiest day of my life

J - yeah you are right i said smiling

J - so what were you saying

B - i was saying that you haven't ate much

B - and i think our baby is gonna have your apetite

she said laughing

J - i was gonna say same thing considering you ate a burger faster than me

i said laughing

B - whatever

then we finished our food and came back to hotel we changed into more comfortable clothes we were just cuddling on our bed

after jug has seen his mom he have been quite i know its hard for him with everything that happened in past it really hurts me to see him like this
