this happens in season 3 when betty escapes out from sisters of quite mercy at time when town gets quarantine and betty is mad at jughead that why was he not there to get her out of sisters but after some fighting get back together ( betty was also abused and tortured there)

BETTYS pov

this place is gonna drive me crazy well these people do think that I am I really hope any of my friend or at least jug notice that I am gone bcoz of my actual crazy mother and sister and now I am stuck in this hell hole all thanks to fucking edgar evernever but I am smarter than these people think they think that after torturing me these days by abusing me or keeping me in a dark room for days and starving me for days they can break me no they are wrong I have a plan and this time a good one
