Fuck, fuck, fuck.

His face. His downbeat expression. It was burned into her memory forever.

Has the irreversible finally happened? Did she and Coiny finally reach a point of no return?

She understood that sometimes, she was blunt. Sometimes, she was a little harsh. Sometimes, she did things she sorely regrets. She was impulsive, and she understood that. She hoped Coiny understood too.

He should. He was her best friend. Was.

But a sinking feeling in her chest reminded her that this "was" may not be temporary now. It may be "forever." And that thought fucking ripped her apart.

She couldn't imagine living without her best friend forever. She couldn't imagine living in this tense state with Coiny forever. She missed the days of laughter, the days of ease, the days of friendship. The days of love.

So much has happened. Could she really go back?

Was Coiny willing to go back? She didn't blame him if he didn't want to. She was a terrible person. After that horrifying interaction with him, she wouldn't be surprised if he never wanted to see her again.

Her eyes started stinging, and she blinked herself back to reality. She was standing on the street in front of the shoe store, staring at nothing. She wondered how long she had been there.

No one in the street really paid attention to her, though. It spared her from some embarrassment.

She didn't even want to go home. She didn't want to know what time it was either.

The redhead sighed. She wished she would just vanish into thin air. She wished she had a car, in which she would get in and drive away, never to be seen again. But life doesn't let you run away like that. You either deal with what you created, or let the world tear you apart with it.

For fuck's sake. Why was she acting like this? Pin screwed her eyes shut, took a deep breath, and opened her eyes. She was Pin. She was strong, and she was confident. She's not going to take the shit life is throwing at her. She's going to fight it.

She's going to get Coiny back.

She didn't care anymore. Sure, she had pride, but she's willing to sacrifice that. The fact she had been so prideful this whole time was a massive sign of her immaturity. It was time to grow up and sacrifice her pride, because she knew she loved him. She has always loved him.

She pulled her coat tighter against her body and rushed to Coiny's residence, the heels from her boots clacking against the pavement.

She prayed.

She prayed he still loved her.

She prayed they wouldn't be trapped in this endless cycle.
