Her bed was oddly hot.

She never realized her bed was this hot.

She moved forward slightly in an effort to find a cooler space only for her to realize there was an arm wrapped around her.

Her eyes flew open. She was suddenly painfully aware this was not her bed. This was not her room. This was not her apartment.

Was she naked..?

Actively trying hard not to scream, she rotated herself to look at the person she was sharing a bed with.

Eraser was fast asleep beside her. His face, usually in a bored neutral frown, looked actually peaceful while he slept. He was also naked.

Pin was everything but peaceful. She was actually horrified.

Taking a deep breath to regain her composure, she slowly peeled herself from Eraser's grasp and shuffled off of the bed.

As Pin picked up her clothing from the floor, she took note of her surroundings. Eraser's room was quite plain. There wasn't even a single poster in sight. The white walls reminded her of an asylum. It was kind of alarming.

She put on her clothing as quickly as possible and slid through his bedroom door. She was careful to shut it as quietly as possible.

"Pin?" A voice shook her to her very core. She whipped her head around as quickly as possible.

"Pen!" Pin whisper-shouted. "What are you doing here?"

Pen squinted at her in confusion. "I live here?"

Pin blinked. "You do?"

Pen nodded. "Yeah, I didn't go to the party last night because I work the morning shift at the coffee shop today. But you and Eraser came home super drunk last night. Didn't even say hi to me. Super rude."

The redhaired girl was speechless with embarrassment. She had no idea Pen was Eraser's fucking roommate. She had no idea he even saw them.

God, she's never going to drink again.

She backed up as far as she could against the door, her breath getting rapid and erratic.

Pen snapped his fingers in front of her. "Hey! Don't be nervous! I don't judge. Just take a deep breath, and come with me to work. I'll buy you a coffee."

Pin slowed her breathing, trying to calm herself down. "I don't drink coffee," she mumbled.

Pen looked thoughtful for a minute. "How about a hot chocolate?"

Pin nodded tentatively. She wasn't sure how much she could trust Pen.

Pen's lips twitched into a crooked, awkward smile. "Well, uh. Let's go then." He opened the door. "Ladies first?"

Pin deftly rushed forward and out the door. Pen stepped outside behind her, keys in hand. "Bye Eraser!" he screamed back into the apartment. With that, he slammed the door shut and locked it.

"That probably woke him up," Pin remarked. Pen chucked and flashed his crooked smile once more.

"That was intentional," his blue eyes were shining with laughter as he slipped his keys into his pocket. "In fact, he depends on it. My farewell to him is his alarm to wake up every morning."

Pin laughed as they began to walk to the coffee shop together. "It seems like you two get along well."

The boy glanced at her, an amused expression on his face. "Of course! You went to high school with us. We've been best friends since forever."
