The party was, well, loud. It was impressive how the large crowd hadn't made the entire penthouse collapse on itself.

Pin weaved through the random people, searching for someone she knew.

Searching for Coiny, specifically.

Someone grabbed her arm as she pushed by. She spun around, red eyes shining to meet copper ones, but instead, were met with orange ones.

"Oh," Pin tried to hide her disappointment. "Hi Firey."

Firey flashed a killer smile back towards her. "Hey Pin!"

Pin stepped back and took in Firey's appearance. He was dressed casually in a t-shirt and some black skinny jeans. In his left hand, he clutched what looked like a very alcoholic cocktail. His girlfriend, Leafy, stood behind him, her eyes sparkling at Pin.

Pin smiled at them. "Hey guys! Sorry for bumping into you."

Firey waved his free hand in dismissal. "Nah, I pulled you here."

Pin rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly before asking, "Have you seen Coiny?"

Leafy shook her head. "I don't think anyone has seen him," she explained. She began fidgeting with the pocket of her green hoodie.

Firey's expression dropped with thought. "I should probably go talk to him tomorrow morning or something," he explained. He turned to Leafy. "What do you think, babe? Shoul-"

A small, orange tabby cat popped out of her pocket.

"God, Leafy!" Firey immediately lost his train of thought. "You brought the damn cat?"

"His name is Smokey and he wanted to come," she retorted hotly.

Firey glared at the cat. The cat seemed to glare back. It was an amusing sight.

"Wow," a familiar voice sounded from behind Pin. "Your girlfriend likes her cat more than you."

Firey watched Leafy cuddle Smokey against her face. "I know," he replied grouchily. He looked towards the voice. "What's up, Eraser?"

After Firey named the owner of the voice, Pin turned around sharply. Standing behind her almost menacingly was the pinkhaired boy.

He wasn't Coiny, but she was mysteriously glad to see him.

Eraser took notice of Pin staring at him. "Uh, can I help you?"

"Let's get a drink," Pin heard herself saying.

Eraser stared at her.

Pin rolled her eyes and huffed. She grabbed Eraser by the elbow and pulled him over to the bar. Pencil was there mixing drinks for everyone.

"Hey Pin! Hey Eraser!" Pencil's cheerful demeanor greeted them. "Fancy a drink?"

Pin nodded eagerly. She deserved to have fun. It's been a stressful week. She had the right to let go, at least for a little bit.

Pencil giggled. "What do you want?"

Pin furrowed her eyebrows in thought. She wasn't much of a drinker. She had no clue what to even ask for.

"Surprise me," she ended up saying. She was surprised at how confident she sounded.

Pencil giggled again, this time deviously. "I have just the drink!"

Within seconds, a small drink was presented to her. It was a surprising beautiful red and orange. It looked almost like a sunset. She brought it to her lips and took a sip. While it did have the gross taste of alcohol, it was sweet. Sweet enough to handle.

"It's called a Sex on the Beach," Pencil giggled again. She looked at Eraser. "How about you, big guy?"

"Scotch on the rocks," Eraser answered.

"Simple," Pencil frowned. "You don't want to jazz it up?"

"No."

Pencil laughed nervously, as if she regretted asking him. "Alright then! Coming up!"

Eraser was handed his drink. He turned towards Pin and raised his glass towards her. Pin clinked the edge of her glass against his, smiling.

Pin downed her drink at once.

The burning of the alcohol sliding down her throat gave her an unhealthy rush of adrenaline. Eraser placed his glass almost gracefully onto the edge of the counter. It was odd she never noticed how attractive he was until now.

Her face grew hot. She wasn't sure if it was the alcohol or the embarrassment.

Everything began to blur together after that. Everything was so fun, so exciting. The sounds of the party were thrilling.

She wasn't sure how many shots she had taken, but she kept feeling the now comforting burn of liquor in her throat every now and then.

Someone offered her the rest of their drink because they couldn't finish it. She greedily drank the rest of the familiar stranger's drink. The room was spinning, but it was spinning in all the right ways.

Her face was hurting from smiling too much. She jumped to the loud, deafening bass beats of the music and pulled Eraser after her everywhere through the penthouse.

Eraser eyed her, his eyes brooding as she danced against him. He took a sip of his drink again, seemingly trying to keep his resolve together.

He was so blurry. Everything was moving in fast forward. She wanted more of him.

The pinkhaired boy turned and sat at the bar, possibly to get another drink.

She turned towards him after she no longer felt his body heat. She staggered a little, searching for him, and spotted him sitting him only a couple feet from her.

Watching her.

She shuffled over and sat herself on his lap, her arms wrapping around his shoulders.

"Whoa, girl-" he started. "We're too drunk for this."

Pin shook her head in disagreement. "No. We're drunk enough for this."

Eraser's breath caught in his throat.

"Let me go home with you," Pin pleaded.

Eraser's face scrunched up in an expression she couldn't identify. The alcohol, however, was making her confident.

Too confident. Dangerously confident.

All she wanted was Eraser. And she was going to have him by the end of this night, no matter what it takes.

No time to hesitate. She had to get her life back together.

She grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and kissed him forcefully.

It took a few beats for him to kiss back.

They made out for a while, unable to get enough of each other. Pin soon realized she was unable to breathe.

She pulled away from him quickly, gasping for air. Eraser was still watching her carefully, his eyes dilated from the alcohol he had consumed.

"Take me home with you," she whispered again.

Eraser gripped her thigh with a large hand, rubbing it for a second before nodding in agreement.

Pin smiled and stood up, pulling Eraser along with her. "Let's get out of here."

Eraser smirked, picked her up, and kissed her. The world seemed to melt away at his touch. Pin wanted more of that mind blowing sense. She kissed back, forcefully. Hungry for more.

A certain copperhead walked in at that exact moment. All hope faded from his eyes the second he spotted the sight in front of him.

The party was, well, loud.

If everything were quiet, they would have heard his heart break.
