Everyone on the bison stopped per her request.
"What... do you mean properly airbend?" Sokka pointed out.
"I, uh..."
Was this the right course of action? Would it be okay to tell them? Aang is an airbender, an actual one. I could learn from him. But... I promised Papa. I- I don't know...
"So, you are an airbender?" Aang filled his voice with hope.
Shakily, Tsuie nodded.
Katara narrowed her eyes,"How can we believe you?"
"I- I can dance for you?"
Blank stares.
"What does dancing have to do with anything?"
"I guess you're right... Uhm, here." Tsuie jumped up and levitated just for a bit and then landed back on the saddle as to not get let behind.
More stares. But this time they were surprised.
"Is-" Sokka stuttered, "Is this for real?"
Aang was on the verge of tears, and covered his mouth with a shaky voice "I'm not the only one left..?"
"You really are an airbender?" Katara said to herself.
Tsuie nodded, "So, Avatar, will you teach me?"
"I can try my best."

Tsuie leaned on the edge of the saddle, hold and playing with Momo.
"Aang, I still owe you an apology. You were just so good at waterbending without really trying. I got so competitive that I put us all in danger. I'm sorry."
"That's okay, Katara."
"Besides, who needs that stupid scroll anyway?"
Sokka pulled out the scroll, "Is that really how you feel?"
"The scroll!" Katara reached for it but her brother pulled it back.
"Oh wow!" Tsuie sat up, joining the conversation, "You actually were able to get it back?"
"I know, I know, I'm amazing."
"You really are! You're so cool, Sokka!"
Katara amusingly huffed, "Don't feed his ego, Tsu-Lyn."
"It's Tsuie," she corrected.
"Wait, you know their names?" Aang asked, remembering that she called him 'Avatar'
"I know all of yours, well sort of," she then pointed to each, "Aang, the Avatar. Katara. Sokka. Appa. And I haven't actually met this cutie." She picked up Momo again who just purred at her.
"His name is Momo," Aang smiled.
"Ah what a nice name!" She petted him, who wagged his tail at her touch.
"Thanks, I chose it!"
"Anyway, can I have the scroll now?"
"Uh-uh, what did you learned?" Sokka waved the scroll around.
"Stealing is wrong," she answered.
He gave it to her, "Good."
She snatched it, "Unless it's from pirates," Katara smirked.
Tsuie giggled and Aang laughed. "Good one, Katara!" They said together.

"Why were you traveling with Zuko?" Sokka asked tossing a small object and catching it multiple times.
"Uncle Iroh offered," she tried to braid her hair, "Like this?"
Katara grabbed a strand and placed it in front of the other but behind the third, "Not quite, here try this."
"Oh, okay thanks."
"Iroh? Who's that?" Aang asked, sitting on Appa's head with the reins in hand.
"He's the one always with Princey. He's his uncle. So I called him that too."
"The old guy?" Sokka confirmed.
"Ah! That's rude! You aren't suppose to refer to someone by their age."
At this point, Katara was just braiding Tsuie's hair for her, "Oh that's right. Tsuie, how old are you?"
"I'm 14!" she beamed.
"Huh? That can't be right. You'd be my age then!"
"Wait seriously? I though you were Aang's age," Sokka stopped tossing the bead.
Aang stifled a laugh. "You think she's over 100?"
"No! I meant- You know what I meant!"
They laughed at the water tribe warrior.
"Speaking of your age, how come you're 12? Shouldn't you be well over that?"
He rubbed the back of his neck, "Well it's a long story... but basically I was in ice for 100 years."
"So you haven't mastered the four elements?"
Then the aura on top of the bison stiffened. "I didn't want to consider the fact but, are you trying to gather information for Zuko?" Katara asked, letting the braid go unfinished and unravel itself.
"Hm? Why would I do that?" Tsuie grabbed the end of the braid, hoping it didn't become too loose, "Besides, even if I did, it's not like he would listen."
"And why is that?" Sokka interrogated, having the same suspicion as the waterbender.
"He only has once before. Back when you were at the coal mining village, with the prison," she stroked her hair, sadly watching the braid become undone, "He usually ignores my suggestions though."
Katara reached up to her neck, wishing to feel her mother's necklace, "So why did you join us?"
"You asked before. It's just fate!" she smiled, "But seriously, I didn't join you. Sokka was the one who pushed me to get on the boat. So, isn't the question 'Why did you want me to join?'"
They stayed silent for the rest of the ride, for the most part.

Katara looked off into the night, stroking the head of the little girl (who was the same age as her) lying in her lap. Momo was in Tsuie's arms, cuddling against her warmth.
Sokka snored peacefully. Aang fell asleep awhile ago.
They didn't usually sleep on the bison, but there was no good places for him to land.
"Katara?" the airbender whispered.
She hummed in response.
"I'm sorry. About your necklace. Well, your mom's."
"How did he even get his hands on it?"
"The prison. We found it on the floor."
She didn't say anything.
Tsuie gripped Momo just a bit tighter, "If it helps, I have a feeling you'll get it back."
