" Indians are at the border" Vladimir spoke leaning back on the plastic chair stoically.

" do you think they'll get it" I asked worriedly placing his food on the table. Vladimir's face went blank as he picked at the parantha.

I'm unsure why I still make him breakfast every morning when he barely eats.

" either way we must prepare, I have some reinforcements coming, get the house next door ready they'll be here soon"

God I'm beginning to panic again, what are we supposed to do.

It didn't take long for me to clean and prepare the home next door. Once it was done I headed back to the field.

Even though we are working together Vladimir made clear that we must still work on the field.

He may be helping us but for his own personal gain. Everyone knows that, in all honesty everyone is ok with it.

Yesterday I heard Dada Jameel telling dad he's glad it was Vladimir who came first and not the Taliban.

I mean we'd prefer no one but a small win is a win and you can count on dada to always look at the bright side.

I worked for a few hours until it was lunch time, today Ivanov asked me to prepare a good meal for the guests. I was going to scoff and laugh in his face but seems like these men are here to help so I decided to be nice.

Grabbing a curry pot I made Chicken Masala and chappatis. Didn't take too long since Amina helped me with the preparation this morning.

After what I said the other day Amina asks me if I need help every few minutes and so does Hussain. They're honestly the sweetest people on the planet I love them.

" Inaya they're here can you bring the food to the table" Ivanov said before leaving, nodding my head to no one in particular I lifted the pots of curry, you got this woman.

I left the kitchen with my eyes cast to the ground, I really don't want to look at Vladimir or these no associates. As I got closer their voices became clearer, why does Vladimir seems happy, this is weird.

Just as I placed fhe food on the table I heard a familiar voice.

"Naya?" My eyes shot up instantly, it can't be.

" Ziraar bhai!" I yelled excitedly, he immediately jumped of the chair. His hands squeezing my cheeks together like he used to do.
(Bhai means brother)

My eyes began to tear as did his, why is he crying?

" Inaya I thought you were dead" he mumbled wiping my stray tears.

Dead?! How the hell did that happen, I left the UK I didn't die.

" who told you that" I asked confused. A furious look took over his features in realisation.

" your fucking uncle, I'm going to kill that bastard"

" no please, I'm so happy your here" I mumbled squeezing his hand tightly, Ziraar sighed in relief.

" I thought you lived in Islamabad"

"Mava and Masi used to make me tell people I was from there" I mumbled quietly, they hated the fact that I lived here, I don't know why.

Ziraar turned to Vladimir and so did I. His jaw is clenched so tight I feel as though it's going to crack. He is seething.

"Vladimir"

" what" he growled, his eyes frozen on Ziraars hands.

" We must do something" Ziraar spoke with conviction.
