You sat on the counter in the kitchen, waiting for your boyfriend to get home from his meeting.
You heard the keys jingle in the key lock and saw Tom. You jumped up and hugged him. He smiled in your neck and whimpered.
" what's wrong ? " you asked, laying your hands on his arms.
" i got hurt today. " he said, sliding his shirt up to show a small gash and cuts.
his eyes pricked with tears and you hugged him softly. you pulled his shirt off and guided him to the bathroom.
you grabbed the medical supplies from the cabinet. you grabbed the gauze and bandages.
he winced when you put it on. he laid his head on your shoulder while you patched him up. he kissed your ear and you smiled.
the two of you walked out and you went to the large record player and grabbed an original, "C418". You set it on and walked away to be hit with a smiling Tommy.
He took your hand up in the air and you smirked.
" I remember doing this as kids. " you spoke in to his chest.
" yeah, remember when you fell onto your fucking ass ? " he laughed.
" hey! it was a cute moment idiot. " you said, the both of you laughing.
After a couple stepping on each other's feet and almost falling, you two were in a slow dance the the record.
Tommy was stuck in a stare at you. he remembered being so madly in love with you as stupid teenagers, he made fun of anyone having wife, who knew he would marry the person he would make fun of with.
You were just stuck in your brain and thoughts. The days that lead up to this, the moments, everything.
The record ended after awhile, but, you continued dancing to your own beat.
He spun you around and the two of you giggled. He spun you again and kissed you.
" I love you so much. " he whispered in to your ear.
" aw, I love you more. " you peppered his nose and cheeks in small kisses.
" you know I love you so much more. " he said, starting a small wholesome argument about loving each other.
