I'm going to class Monday morning when I feel someone looking at me. I start to look around when I see Ethan looking my way. The perfect chance, he was reading Percy Jackson, it was just too easy.

-Hey!- I said.

-Hi- He said, really confused since we had not talked before.

-I just wanted to say I really like your book.-

-You know it?-

-Hum, Obviously? It's one of the best books ever created.-

-Yes! It is, I thought no one in the school had read it.-

-Well, guess I'm no one.-

He giggled. The bell rang.

-Well, I'll see you around.- I said.

-Sure-

That's interesting, he seemed shy at first, but the second he got comfortable he opened up.

I have to talk to Blake I guess.

The day went by and right when I was going home I saw Blake Crawford leaning against his motorcycle. I waved at him, and he gave me a friendly nod. Not what I was expecting, he didn't even say a word. That one is gonna be tough.

I figured he didn't want to talk, so I started walking to my car. I was about to open the door when I felt breathing behind my neck. I froze. The breathing got closer... -"Hey Williams"-

"Williams", I knew who it was. My pulse got down a little bit and I turned around. And there it was, flesh and bone, Blake Crawford, a few inches away from me with his little smirk.

-"Didn't mean to scare you, I just thought you were gonna come say hello."-

-"I did say hello. You are the one that didn't."- I said angrily, but also a little hurt.

-"I noded."-

-"I noticed."-

-Anyway, Where are you going?-

-Home, it's late.-

-What do you mean late? The sun is still up, that isn't late.-

-Well for people who have a normal schedule it is late, I have a million things to do.-

-Whatever.-

-Well, gotta go.-

I was turning around when I felt his hand around my wrist. I froze again. He was annoying, but he was very hot as well. The kind of hot that makes you freeze.

-You sure? We could do something.-

I was intrigued, to say the least, but Blake Crawford didn't seem like the kind of guy that likes to go to the library to "Hang out".

-Sure, thanks anyway. Maybe another time.-

Even though I knew it was the right decision, I felt a little hurt when he walked away without saying goodbye, or anything else.

The next day I was talking to Liv next to my locker when I heard someone calling my name. It was Ethan.

-Sadie! Hey!-

Liv was just staring at me with a very confused look, as well as everyone else in the hallway. Including Blake Crawford.

-Hi Ethan-

-Just wanted to give you this- He handed me a copy of the latest Percy Jackson book, it was sold out everywhere. -Thought you might like it.-

I almost fainted.

-LIKE IT? I LOVE IT.- I couldn't help myself and before I knew it I was hugging Ethan in front of everyone.

-Hm, I mean- I let him go and we stood awkwardly.-Yes, thank you so much.-

-No worries, I would love to have someone to discuss it with.-

-I would love that, I'll let you know when I finish it.-

Ethan walked away with a "See you later", and I don't know why, but my heart kinda melted a little bit.

Liv BURSTED into laughter.

-"Yeah, see you later"- Kissing sounds.

-Shut up.-

-Well, it looks like potential Hemingway made quite the move.-

-He didn't make a move, he was just being friendly.-

-Well, if that wasn't a move, could you explain why Blake seemed incredibly jealous?-

She was right, I barely saw him before he walked away, but I think I felt a little jealousy... Maybe I'm going crazy. No guy has ever liked me, and now I'm here thinking a guy is jealous because another guy made a move on me? That kind of thing doesn't happen to people like me.
