I woke up to find out that I was sleeping next to a wolf. I was scared. Wolves are ferocious animals. It could eat me if I wake it up I thought.  I tried to get away. I was careful not to make any sound. But by mistake, I dropped the vase on the floor. “It is the death of me,” I thought. It growled and started to move. I read somewhere that if you stare wolves straight in their eyes they won’t attack you. I stared into its eyes. Its fur started to grow smaller, revealing its skin more. It's snout sunk into its head. Its eyes grew bigger. The fur behind its head became longer. Her body took a humanoid shape. The wolf slowly turned into the girl I brought home from the hospital.  She was standing naked in front of me. I blushed and looked away. “Nooo look!” She yelled. I tried to glance at her but she growled. I dunked my head more into the wall.
“W….w….where?” She asked me while stumbling a bit. It was clear to me that she could not communicate in human language. Maybe she never learned the human language. I took off my shirt and handed it to her. After giving her some time to wear it, I asked "can I look?". She hummed. I took that as a yes and turned around. She hadn't buttoned the shirt. She just put it over herself. I went close to her and helped her with it. She had a beautiful body. It was hard to not get tempted. She can't wear clothes properly either. But I remembered that when I hit her with my car, she was wearing something. Maybe her parents helped her.
"Grr….wh….where?" She asked again. I explained everything, but by the look on her face, I could tell that she understood only a bit. I got an idea. I asked her to wait while I went next door. They had a small kid. I borrowed some toys from them. A toy car, a barbie and Ben doll. I used these toys to explain. It looked like she understood everything and soon I regretted that. Because she started growling and barking at me angrily. Her stomach grumbled all of a sudden. She blushed and sat in the corner. She was holding her stomach. She must be hungry after all the tantrum she threw. I patted her and gave her bread. She smiled happily. Food is everything for all beings. So is family. "Oh yeah! Her family must be worried." I thought she must miss her family too. I tried to ask her about her family but she didn't answer. I remembered something I watched on National Geography that wolves don't have the concept of family. They have packed.
"Where's your pack?". Upon hearing that question, she looked into my eyes. Her eyes were somewhat wet. She shook her head and shifted her focus on the food I prepared. I wondered why she denied telling me about her pack. Maybe if I take her to the place I found her, she will head back home. I looked at the beautiful smile she had. It was a soothing sight. My eyes got diverted towards her clothes. Wearing nothing but a shirt is kind of hot. Maybe I should get her clothes first. It is decided then! I will buy her clothes and take her to the place I met her.
I helped her with cleaning herself and put a decent garment on her. My clothes look baggy on her but it is fine. Baggy clothes are in fashion. The shopping market is away from home but I am not sure if she will be comfortable in a car. Last time, she was unconscious. I walked her to my car. Her hand felt as soft as petals of flowers. I opened the door for her. She sat on the seat in an Indian squat pose. I giggled and lowered her legs. I entered the car and put seat belts on her and myself. We left for the market. She was acting like a child in a car. She was making noises and putting her head out of the window. "Hey! That's dangerous!" I exclaimed and pulled her back in the car. I tightened her seat belt. I was struggling the whole time to keep her inside the car. Well, at least she enjoyed the ride. We reached the shopping market. She started jumping. Maybe she could smell all the tasty food. She was drooling.  I held her hand tightly. I didn't want to lose sight of her. Being a beautiful girl, wandering alone in a mall might be dangerous for her. She cannot also talk. It could create havoc. I would blame myself if something happened to her. She pulled me towards the food stalls. Her strength was contradictory to her cute demeanor.  I bought chicken wings for her. Happiness on her face was a beautiful sight. My heart skipped a few beats. She offered me some wings too. "Is she showing gratitude towards me?". I took one. Her smile brightened. She was munching on them. I pulled her to the clothes shop. Everyone was looking at us. They thought we were a couple.
Desperate sales-women dashed towards us. They are always on a hunt for customers. I had my own plans. Since I lack knowledge in fashion, I decided to have the saleswoman help us. I saw a name on one's label, Sasha. I asked Sasha to help us. Sasha seemed like a nice girl who might keep her job aside while helping us. I realized that I never asked the werewolf's name.
"What's your name?" I asked while turning to the werewolf. She looked at me and tilted her head. I pointed at myself and said "Leo". Then, I pointed at her. She looked at me and looked at my hand. After thinking for a while, she pointed at herself and said "Accalia."
"That's a beautiful name."
The saleswoman looked at me like I'd kidnapped Accalia and threatened her to not say a word. I can't tell her that she's a werewolf, neither that I am the one who hurt her. I had to lie. I told her that she lost her memories in an accident. The doctors have told us to ask her basics questions. This might boost her recovery.
"Aww! She's so lucky. You are so sweet." Sasha said. She helped me with selecting clothes for her. She was acting more of a friend than a desperate saleswoman. Though, I ended up buying more than I needed. It was a friend's charm probably. I got some casual wears, office wears and party wears. "Why am I buying all these? She's gonna leave me and go home." I wondered. I was doing it as compensation for what I have done to her.
"Sasha. Can I have your contact details?"
Sasha looked at me suspiciously. She asked why I want those. I explained that Accalia forgot her friends as well. I have promised that I won't interfere with her friend circles. So, it would be good if she gets someone to hangout with. Sasha gave me her work contact. I can't blame her. It's hard to trust anyone nowadays.
After shopping for clothes for her and feeding her to her heart's content, we got back in the car. She was sitting properly. She learns fast.  The quick learning skills. She looked at me and smiled. A way to show gratitude. I started driving. Tonight was different than last night. The moon was shining brightly. Birds were singing lullabies to their babies.
Today was an eventful day. I found that werewolves exist. I became friends with a werewolf. She's a beautiful girl. Her pack must be worried about her. I reached the spot where I met her. I parked my car on the side and got us out of the car. She looked at me with teary eyes. She started crying.
"Hey! Accalia. What happened!? What's wrong!?"
I kept asking her again and again but she wasn't answering. She kept crying and whimpering. She hugged my leg and wailed.
