I woke up, with a numb feeling in my head. There was a distant sound of music. I slowly opened my eyes, a low dim light welcomed me. I stood up, I realised I had been sleeping on a bed. I looked round the room. It was defiantly a girls room by the pink themed deco and make-up on the dressing table. My head was aching, I was just nursing it when I felt dried blood, how was i going to explain that to Hail?
But worse than that was the pain of my neck. I recalled the fuzzy memory of being thrown onto the floor and hitting the table. But I didn't hit my neck, it was very painful. Carefully I walked towards the long mirror and examined the damage. You could tell that I had been in trouble by the dark red blood over my vest but what stunned me more was the swollen blue colour on my neck. I gasped. That was not normal, silently I made I creeped over to the door leading to the hallway. My heart in my throat. I was in a bad place.
The attached door leading to the en-suite suddenly flew open. The new guy; Noah was in the doorway. "Eliza, please." The stranger pleaded.
I paused, I was frozen. "How do you know my name?" I asked, stepping towards the door. This wasn't good.
"Everyone knows who you are." He smiled, walking slowing towards me. He stopped next me. He stroked my neck, he seemed proud of that mark. He growled, when he examined my head muttering to himself. his hand brushed against the mark, I felt a sudden feeling of fainting.
I gasped, automatically stepping "You did this to me?" I whispered. Grabbing the door.
"No" He growled, pushing the door back closed, pressing his muscular arms on the door enclosing me. "You will not walk away from me. Listen, I don't know why but, I am in some ways in love with you and you won't understand, but you have to trust me." He said, stroking me hair.
"When a stranger has bitten me, I don't trust them." I growled, I quickly made the decision of punching him the stomach, he was quickly startled in the small time I opened the door and ran out.
I didn't care if I looked crazy, but I wasn't staying in that room any longer. I ran down the stairs. When I made it to the bottom I merged into the party groups, catching my breath, I could see him he was looking for me, glaring at everyone, suddenly I felt his gaze on me. Crap. He started running towards me. I went back towards the dance floor. However instead of going into the kitchen, I went out of the patio doors, into the garden. It was wasn't't chilly, however most people were inside dancing. I silently creeped behind the tree trunk and checked me phone. Damn, 1:34, Richard and Liam were going to kill me. Liam would have left without me. I dialed for a taxi service. I whispered into the phone that I'd need a taxi ASAP however as it was Saturday that I would have to wait for 45 minutes. "Okay fine" I whispered, furiously. They asked where I needed picking up, but I had no clue where I was Lydia had the address. All I knew was the nearest bus station. "Pick me up from Joville Bus Stop." I hung up. I tried to catch my breath, I wasn't't tired, I was terrified whether this guy was trying to find me. I dialled Liam's number only to go to voice mail. "Liam pick up, I have been stuck at the party, please make some excuse to Hail for me. I will explain later." I begged.
Suddenly there was the sound of footsteps. I hung quickly. "Eliza. I know you are here. Let me explain. Before I get angry." Noah threatened. I froze I was never going to come out. I then heard heard the faint patter of high heels.
"Noah, where have you been, all night?" Sophia purred.
"I've been busy." Noah dismissed.
"Oh, your so cute. When your frustrated" She slyed, Sophia was defiantly drunk. I peered from the tree trunk, seeing that Sophia was straight in front of Noah, trying to catch his attention. Noah looked, very angry and wasn't paying the slightest attention. Silently, I walked, through the bushes, to their garden door. Carefully I opened the wooden door, I walked out I only heard the Noah asking her to leave him alone and the quickening of his steps coming towards me, then I ran. There was something weird about Noah, he made me feel uncomfortable and on edge. Finally I reached the bus stop and fspent the next remaining fifteen minutes phoning Liam and I trying to think of how I was so late home.
