Chapter 21

Eliza’s POV
I stared at the hand bound tightly around his god-like torso. Slowly I looked up towards his face. My eyes scanning his delicious body. He had changed, before Noah had been very tall and secretly muscular however now he was very different. It looked like he had been pumped on steroids for a week and had stayed in the gym twenty fours hours, he now had bulging muscles daring to rip out of his white t-shirt. Who was this person?
I peered at the person who was clinging to him; I saw her bright ginger curly hair bouncing from her fragile porcelain face. She looked like so innocent and sweet and lovable, her name was Tiffany. As kind and sweet-hearted she may be I could not help be repulsed with her that she was with my mate.
I felt body automatically recline and become solitude. My face hardened, I was angry however after many weeks of training I just had a stony expression plastered onto my face.
“Hello.” I nodded. Mark tugged at my hand lightly to show his understanding. I saw Noah glaring at my hand, his strong jaw tightened in anger, a small growl rippling from his chest.
I didn’t care. What was it to him what Mark and I’s relationship was? I could feel the tension in the room as everyone started at us expectantly, like I would start screaming at him.
“Eliza let me-” Noah begun, stepping towards me. I flinched I didn’t want him or her near me.
“I have to go.” I interrupted rudely; I walked up the stairs, hearing the quiet whisper beginning. My heart throbbed; this had been the closest to having true feelings for a long time. But I wouldn’t cry.
I deserved this. I had told him to move on.
I ran into my bedroom and quickly changed into a sports bra, shorts and a plain white vest. I grabbed my running shoes and rapidly tied my hair into a braid and sprinted down the stairs. Luckily everyone had left the hallway. I quickly opened the door.
“Where are you going?” I heard his soft melodic voice float through the hallway, I stood in the door way.
"For a run.” I replied, turning around. I saw his eyes trailing down my body. I gave him a disgusted look whilst slamming the door. I ran down the drive, he had girlfriend for crying out loud. He shouldn’t look at anyone but her like that. My heart rate picked up quickly at the thought of Tiffany as his girlfriend.
Mark had decided to increase my fitness however I was pushing myself, I wanted to be better, I wanted to be the best fighter ever known.
I ran down the streets at speed that no human could compete with. I had one target on my mind, to see Tigga. It had nearly been a month since I had last seen him and needed him now. I lived around ten miles from him, I could reach that distance without breaking a sweat.
My body relaxed to the repetitive action of my feet hitting the road. I enjoyed this, it was calming and let my think about what I wanted from life now my mate had someone else.

Noah’s POV
I heard her angelic voice drift through the rooms echoing through my ears; awakening my conscience and shattering my stone cold heart. I rushed from the sofa, I needed her.
There was a group of people surrounding her. I pushed them out of the way; I wanted to see her face.
“Eliza.” I called, not bearing the distance anymore. I saw her face to turn to me, love and happiness radiated from her. I even saw her looking at my body. I smiled inwardly; after she had left I had been focused on training and exercising it was becoming close to an obsession. It was the only thing that kept me from thinking about her and going insane. I automatically looked at her beautiful body too, she had become even more athletic, her gorgeous hair had become wilder and curlier, she stood with more confidence and power, her eyes were bigger as her irises stood out for that ever.
