Chapter 26
Eliza’s POV
Breath. I tried to make my body do something that it had been doing for the last sixteen years perfectly fine but right now I had seem to lost any type of control. Damn you Eliza just bloody breath! You can take down a stupid werewolf, but breathing is way out of capability?
I jogged on the spot trying to loosen myself up and something I barely did. Relax.
The door suddenly opened revealing Cathy looked at me curiously. “Eliza, what are you doing?” She sighed.
“I was...just looking for something?” I gulped, I hated hanging out with girls; they always looked into each other’s emotions way too much and talked about stuff I had no experience in.
“In my room now!” Cathy instructed, shoving me inside and onto the bed. Gabby was sat on the desk chair, giving me of look pity; she must have been in this situation before.
“Well...” Cathy folded her arms looking at me expectantly.
“Well...I was wondering. I have got...I have got to go to this club next week and I don’t have much familiarity with clothes and makeup. Anyway I have to look quite...no very good and I kind of need your help getting ready.” I gulped.
“Are you dressing well so you can see other boys?”Cathy accused.
“No! No way!” I yelped. “It’s purely business.”
“Sure...business.” Gabby winked.
“It’s business.” I stated honestly, I really couldn’t believe they thought I was going to try and get a boy. The thought made me shudder at the thought of being with Steven.
“Okay.” Cathy smiled widely, truly believing me. “So when are you are you going to this club?”
“In two weeks this Saturday.”
“Hmm...that’s not much long time.” Cathy tapped he chin thoughtfully, how long did they need to get ready? “We will need to get a dress, shoes and defiantly makeup.”
“Wait, does that mean I have to go shopping?” I interjected.
“Yes!” Cathy said.
“Please don’t make me!” I groaned. One thing I cannot bare is shopping, I hated it.
“Well how else are we going to get your clothes?” Cathy huffed.
“I will give you my card and you can buy me as many things as you want and anything I don’t wear you can keep!” I begged.
“Anything?” Cathy raised her eyebrows.
“In moderation.”
“Deal!” Cathy squealed. “I cannot wait to start, what’s your size?”
“Eight.” I handed her my card and pin, threatening if she abused this I would stop my bank account before she could say “Shopping”.
“Now if you will excuse me I’ve got some training to do.” I got up and walked to the door.
“Training doesn’t start for another two hours.” Gabby pointed out.
“I know, I’m training Alex.”
“Oh. What does Noah think of that?” Cathy asked, I stiffened.
“I don’t really care what he thinks.” I muttered before walking out of the door. Cathy looked at me sadly, I knew she was disappointed of her brother but I hoped she wouldn’t be angry for me walking out on her; I didn’t want to talk or think about him.
