Chapter 12

Eliza POV
When the last second of that minute went I let out a deep breath I was about to get out of bed when I remembered that I wasn’t able to move. I screamed in annoyance. I couldn’t do anything now! I furiously pressed the buzzer for assistance, finally Noah’s best friend Mark came.
“What?” He growled. I had reined in my anger knowing I was going to have to play nice to get what I wanted.
“I need help to get out of my bed.” I smiled slyly.
“No.” Mark stated. “You have been instructed to stay in bed for today.”
“I will pay you?” I bribed I know it was bad to flirt but I really needed to get out of here. Mark looked thoughtfully.
“No money will make me go against Noah.” Mark said sternly.
“No even five hundred pounds?” I grinned.
Mark looked confused and undecided. “What do I have to do?” He grumbled.
“I need you to take my upstairs and put me in the bathroom with some clothes than we need to drive to the house you found me to get my motorbike than I just need you to drop me of somewhere.” I winked. I needed to see Tigga Hayley was going to be so cross, that I was not turning up and looking after him and I needed to explain that I was in hospital and that I would be down there tomorrow morning. “Don’t worry you don’t have to help me get changed.” I smirked.
“Not enough money.” He grinned walking towards me.
“Seven hundred?” I offered
“Nine?” Mark asked.
“Fine.” I agreed.
Swiftly Mark picked me and we crept up to my room cautious of people around. Luckily everyone was not in the house. I expected to find my room in a state and covered in blood, however it looked like I left it, even the mirror was back in place.
“What happened to my room?” I asked. Mark placed me on the toilet whilst he grabbed me some clothes.
“Whilst you were in care Noah ordered that your room should be like it was before.” Mark sighed handing me a pair of jeans and a vest. I nodded. “I will be outside.” Mark shut the door quietly. It took a lot more effort than I expected to put jeans over a cast, however I finally looked descent. Mark was being friendly and gave me a pair of men’s boots, they looked a bit strange however they did the job. With the help of Mark I got down the stairs, I could walk on my casts when I was wearing shoes. I know it was probably not the best thing to do, but nothing was going to stop me. We were nearly out of the door when I remembered of my promise to Jed, I didn’t have to tell him where I was but I felt it was best for me to tell him I would be back. I hobbled over to Jed’s office and wrote a note and left it on his desk.
Jed,
I haven’t forgotten.
Eliza
Awkwardly we got into Mark’s truck; the motorbike would fit easily in the back. We drove to in silence for a while listening to the quiet rock n’ roll.
“So are you going to ever tell me about yourself?” Mark asked barely looking at the road.
“What is there to tell?” I admitted, looking out of the window.
