That I’m trying trying trying to let you go
For the rest of the lesson he was glaring at me like a hawk as if he was going to kill me by the end of the day. I wasn’t fazed. I took no notice. Wait actually technically I did if I saw him eyeing me. Nope it was just a glance though. The bell rang indicating the next lesson and I rose from my chair taking caution cause I knew I couldn’t trust this guy. I had no clue where I had to go next and at the perfect moment Bella came up to me.
“Hey girl, what’s your next lesson?” She seems like the sweetest person but i can’t maintain the same energy as her.
“No clue," I reply not too bluntly. She grabs the clumps of paper I’m holding and looks through them and finds my timetable.
“Oooo you got music now with Mrs. Delilah. All you need to know is that she got her heart broke recently so no talking about boys with long blonde hair," She swiftly says while walking me to this massive room filled with expensive looking instruments. She pushes me in and gives me a little wave with a smile that said good luck.
Swiftly I look around and see this gorgeous black theatre. I remember me and you singing our hearts out to any greatest showmen songs. Screaming our hearts out at the TV. I remember the first time I tried to let you go, you started singing a million dreams and made me laugh. I couldn’t let you go after that, you seemed so happy but it was not our time. I was interrupted by someone pushing me into the classroom behind the theatre. When I turn around I see the boy, Johnny I think his name was. He gave me another smile.
“You are the very most welcome for showing you were the classroom for music is,” he says proudly. His arms are still on my back so I walk off and find a seat in the semicircle and to my surprise the quiet fire burning down boy is there. I sit in the opposite direction to him remembering my intentions of moving schools and obviously the Johnny comes to sit next to me. He really knows how to get on my nerves.
