Too late to say I'm sorry now

I turn around to walk away not expecting this to happen one bit.

"So you're just going to run like you always do," he laughs but in a menacing way.

"Yes that's exactly what Im going to do," I say holding back the tears.

"I'm still your boyfriend cause you didn't break up with me," he states in a thick British accent.

"Well you should've taken the hint when I left," I replied.

"Come on, y/n think about it. Every relationship has their arguments. I'm sorry okay?" He rapidly says trying to get his point across.

"Its too late to say sorry. We were bad for each other. Just leave me alone," I carry on walking off but Johnny doesn't follow. Instead he stands there, making a deadly eye contact with Josh. I grab his wrist and walk pulling his weight and mine.

"I'm not strong enough to drag you all the way," I laugh.

"How can you laugh at a point like this?" He questions sounding more angry than me.

"Trust me, I am stressing more than anyone right now,' I assure him.

We walk in silence for the next couple of minutes with our arms wrapped in each others. The thought of Josh being here scared me. My parents are going to totally freak and I just started a good bond with Johnny and the talent show was coming soon and I knew josh would come just to psych me out.

"What happens to us now now?" Johnny questions

"What?" I say not even processing the question he had just ask.

"Like maybe it was just me but that kiss meant something to me, and im not saying that as a boy trying to get in your pants but as a guy who genuinely cares for you," he says and I stop in the middle of the path way and look at him.

"Is the Johnny orlando admitting his feelings for me?" I ask knowing the answer with a huge grin.

"Oh shut up you ruin everything," he smacks my arm.

"Well nothing is going to change between us, Josh is not going to change anything," I assure him grabbing his hand.

"I care about you too and I didn't think I was going to manage caring for anyone after what he did to me," I reply looking right at his eyes. This is probably a good time to give him a reassuring kiss but I couldn't as all I could think about was Josh. Maybe I shouldn't of lied. I still care about Josh a lot even though he hurt me. He realises somethings off and lets go of my hand.

"Lets just go to school," he bluntly says and starts walking head of me.
