We Can Be Heroes (Wild Card x OC)

Chapter Six

"But we're children." Rewind said.

"Yes, the children of the Heroics. If anyone is gonna save the world it's you, because all of you have superpowers."

"Super lame powers." Facemaker said.

"Speak for yourself." Wild Card said.

"Okay, Johnny Random." Rewind retorted.

"Hmm...This is no way to be a super team." She told us.

"Abuelita's right. Aliens are about to invade, and if we want to rescue our parents and save the planet, we're gonna need to do it now." Missy said standing up.

"Are you saying that...we can be superhero's?" A Capella asked.

"Well, yeah. I guess that kinda is what I'm saying." Missy said sitting down again.

"🎶We can be heroes just for one day🎶" She sang. We all rolled our eyes and groaned. "Sorry, it was there for the taking."

"I need you all to maximize your powers." She said.

"I can't do that I hurt people." I said.

"Grandma, I've been trying to do that my whole life, so if you have any ideas, I'm all ears." Wild Card told her.

Facemaker went behind Wild Cards head and made his ears big so it's looked like Wild Cards ears were big. We all laughed.

"It's not about who is the strongest or fastest. It's about working together, and that's why we'll need someone to be the leader." She said.

"That would be me." Wild Card said raising his hand.

"I was actually talking about Missy, but thank you. Follow me! Quickly. Quickly! Fast. Fast!"

We all did as told and followed her. She lead us toward her backyard. "But I'm the leader!" Wild Card said.

"He's right. And I'm totally okay with that." Missy said.

"Well, I'm not. And we don't have time to argue. So, what I say goes." She said as we stood on the stairs.

"Yes, ma'am." Wild Card said.

"Hmm. Welcome to my training ground." She said. The lawn started to change into training ground. "Let's boogie."

"Stand together. Feel the rhythm." She said as we practiced fighting stances on the mat.

She then had some of us fight with fake laser soldiers. Each of us had to take them down. We also did an obstacle corse filled with all sorts of challenges.

Miss Moreno turned on some music. Then Missy started guiding us on what to do like a perfect leader. She made the time twins work in sync for once.

We saw Guppy go after Facemaker. Noodles stretched his arm and grabbed her. Me and Wild Card then had to grab Noodles to hold him in place.

He let go and Missy lectured Guppy. She sent Guppy off to meditate the Shark Frenzy away.

"Someone catch Slo-Mo! Noodles! I mean, no, Facemaker!" She yelled stuttering.

"What? Who? Make up your mind." The twins said.

"I got him!" Noodles yelled from the tight rope. He caused a domino affect. We were now almost all on the floor.

"Slo-Mo, you never do anything right." Wild Card said as Slo-Mo finally landed.

Missy's grandma had us practice standing in formation. We all stood making cool superhero poses while staring off at absolutely nothing.
