Y/N POV

I walked into the hotel lobby to grab a key from the front desk. We have a friendly in Anaheim against Australia on Saturday. It was currently Monday and I had gotten the key to my room and was on my way. I wasn't sure who I was rooming with yet. It's not like I could get a bad roommate. I love everyone on the team, so whoever it is, I won't mind. I took out my room key and swiped it against the door. I walked into the room and saw Lynn unpacking her things.

"Y/N!" Lynn cheered and ran over to hug me.

"Hey, Lynn!" I hugged her back. She took one of my bags and set it down on the bed I would be sleeping in.

"I'm so happy you're my roommate. How were your travels?" She sat down on her bed and watched as I unpacked.

"It was pretty smooth. I didn't miss my flight and I have all of my bags so I can't complain." I chuckled and finished putting all my things away. "Want to walk around the city? I don't think we have any training today."

Lynn nodded and stood up. "That would be great."

Lynn and I walked around downtown Anaheim and bought a few things from the shops. We stopped for dinner and before we knew it the sun was starting to set. We walked around until we found an overlook that had a great view of the sunset. We sat down and had a few bags of stuff sitting next to us.

"I love sunsets. They never fail to amaze me. They're always so beautiful." I looked at the view in awe.

"That's one of the many things I like about you," Lynn mumbled under her breath. I'm assuming she didn't want me to hear.

"What was that Linny?" I turned so I was facing her.

Lynn looked up at me and I could tell that I had caught her off guard. "I have to get something off of my chest." She looked down at her hands as she played with her fingers.

I grabbed her hands and looked at her with soft eyes. "You know you can tell me anything." I rubbed my thumb over her knuckles to try to get her to calm down.

Lynn took a deep breath and looked into my eyes. "I like you, Y/N. A lot. I like how much you appreciate sunsets, I like your dedication to whatever team you're playing for, I like how you never deny a picture with fans, I could go on and on."

I looked at Lynn speechless. I didn't know what to say. I have always had a thing for Lynn ever since the day I first met her. Lynn started to panic after I didn't respond so I leaned in and kissed her softly. After a few seconds, I pulled away. "I like you too Lynn. I always have."

She smiled widely and rested her forehead against mine. "Then, would you like to go to dinner with me tomorrow night?"

"I would love to roomie." We both laughed and made our way back to the hotel.
