Naomi POV:
"Father is here"
I threw my keys on the little table by the front door, as I entered the dining room, walking straight to the bar to pour myself a glass of rum. "I'm glad that you decided to join us, Naomi," my father said in his thick Italian accent, "Glad my ass" I said under my breath.
My father was sitting at the head of the table as my brother sat on the side, as I leaned my body against the wall. "Please, take a seat,Naomi," my father said to me, "I'll stand," I told him as I drank my rum while eyeing him down. "I wasn't asking you, I was telling me" he said, getting frustrated with me but I don't care.
"Well I don't care, " I said with a smile on my face, he took a deep breath and started to talk again "I came here to see how y'all are doing here with the business here" he said looking at all of us. "The business is going good and we are too," Franco said looking down.
Since we were kids, my brothers were always scared of our father but not me when I started to hate him, but that is another story for another time. "Where were you Naomi?" Father asked me. "I was at a party with my boyfriend," I said as my brothers look at me wondering who's my boyfriend.
"I have school tomorrow, I'm going to bed good night and father you should go get on your plane back to Italy," as I placed my glass of rum on the table and I pointed to the front door while making my way to my room.
30 minutes later....
I look out my window to see my father leaving and heading to his flight. I texted Leo good night and went to bed.
