Chapter 27

Naomi's POV

I woke up to Jade hugging me in her sleep, I slide carefully out of Jade's arms going to pick out clothes for us, leaving a glass of water and aspirin on the nightstand, as I get ready for school as Jade started to wake up.

When I got out of the bathroom, Jade went to the bathroom after me, "Good morning Jay," I said to her as I headed downstairs to grab our bags and snacks and waited for Jade to come down. Once she got downstairs, we headed to school while we drove there I got a call from Nicolo. "Yo Nicolo, you on speaker, "I told him "Hey sis, I need you and Franco to count some numbers at the Magazzino, Okay?" he asked me, "Ok, I'll do it after school when I drop off Jade," I told him, "Okay, hey Jade," he said to her through the car speaker, "Sup Nick," she said to him as he giggles a little bit on the phone. "Okay, We have to go, I'll see you on the field," I said as he says bye. (Warehouse)

When Nicolo asks Franco and me to count numbers he means money that the mafia gets from our allies in Europe, Asia, and the States. We mostly got the money from our drugs and guns trades that we sell to other gangs, but I love traveling from Luca when we trade in Asia. I have a lot of friends in China, Japan, and Korea. My guy best friend Kai is the leader of a Japanese mafia in Tokyo, I visit him every spring because the cherry blossoms grew in his yard when we were pre-teens.

Jade and I parked in the school parking lot and headed inside.

Skip to Math Class...

I was in my math class, doing my notes as Franco got copied off by some guys on the football team, "Bro makes your individual notes," I told them, "But his notes are so neat," one of them said, trying to get a better look at the paper, "Ugh, I'll give yall my notes later," he told them packing up his stuff heading to lunch.

Jade and I were eating and chatting during our lunch yet I got a call from Sebastian, "I'll be right back okay," I told Jade "Okay," as she stuffed food in her mouth. I went to an empty classroom and answered the call.

"Hello Naomi," Sebastian said, "Sebastian," I said "Naomi, Please call me uncle or something but not my first name please it weird ," he said "I still don't believe you that you are my uncle," I told him "I know it's hard for you to understand," he said calmly, "I asked Aunt Marie about you," I said, "Marie,... I thought she died after I lost contact with her," he said "No, she's alive and well. She got married, started a family, and stay in Italy," I told him, "That's amazing," he said in relief, "I want to know everything about my mother's death and learn more about you if you are truly my family I want to meet you some day," I told him truthfully, "Okay, little one but you need to make sure no one knows that you are meeting me, that day" he said, "How about we met after my eighteen my birthday," I ask him "Okay" he said "At the Colosseum in Rome," I said "Okay, Naomi. See you in Rome," that is when the line ended.

On  my eighteen my birthday, I'll be declared as a co-leader for my brothers if something happened to them.

I head back to Jade to see that she is grabbing our stuff and walking over to you. We head to the field to do our dance practices.

When practice was over, I dropped  Jade home and headed to the warehouse. I walked into the warehouse to see Franco waiting for me with like twenty big wooden bins next to him. We opened up the first bin, it had like ten mills in it, we counted US, euros, yuan and yens cash.

The result of all the money was ten billion we counted and cleaned. We place the money in the safe, after that we talk, "Hey you know that Leo is about to fight coming up soon," Franco said "What do you make a fight," I ask him. "When there is a new leader in a  mafia, the new leader fights the best warriors in each mafia here in New York," he said "When is the fight happening," I asked, " I think that's next weekend," he said. I took a deep breath, started to pack my bags and walk out with France, and went home.
