Read the note at the end!

I felt the music vibrate down to my very core as I slid through the throng of dancers. Did I wish I was like them? Carefree, untroubled, and the only thing that they needed to worry about was downing too many drinks and not worrying about their partner/crush who just so happened to be an angel? Nope. Not at all. Well except for the last one.
After the little, ahem, incident at the hotel, I couldn’t be near Matt without thinking about it. Constantly. I couldn’t even look him in the eye without my stupid face heating up. He wanted to talk about it, I didn’t. Needless to say the eighteen hour drive had been extremely awkward.
I peered over the dancing bodies searching for Daniel’s familiar ginger head. I saw a ginger haired figure sitting at the bar, drink in hand. I knew right away it wasn’t Daniel, mainly because of the drink, but also cause this person was a chick. Oh well.
I sat down next to the girl at the bar and checked my phone. Still nothing from Ezekiel, the bastard, but at least he actually knew how to use a phone. Unlike Daniel. I smirked as I remembered the time.
“Can I buy you a drink?” The girl next to me asked. I took her in. About my height, looked about twenty, with some sort of tattoo on the inside of her wrist, like mine, that she kept rubbing nervously.
“You must not be from around here. Most people who want to buy you a drink a: want to drug you or b: get in your pants.” The girl laughed a little.
“Trust me I don’t want to do any of that. Phoenix girl.”
“You sound like it.” I gestured to the bartender and she brought me over a scotch. We sat in silence as I sipped my drink still scanning for Daniel or Ezekiel. Personally I would rather have just met them on the road but I needed to get away from Matt for a bit.
“You look tense. Guy trouble?” The ginger girl asked leaning back against the counter. I shot her a quick glance. “You keep rubbing that tattoo you have on the inside of your wrist and looking around for someone.” I nearly laughed. The girl was good, to a point.
“You could say that.” I closed my hand as I unconsciously went to rub my tattoo and stared out at the dancers. She snorted into her drink and took a long swig.
“Trust me girl, I’ve been there. I’ve had two guys, two very hot guys, basically stalking me.”
“You try taking a swing at em?” She shrugged and downed the drink.
“Would if it’d do any good. They’re crazy fast.” My mind instantly went to demons.
“Do you need help?” Maybe a little fighting would take my mind off of everything. Couple of tracker demons maybe, or maybe a sex crazed one. Those ones were fairly easy to find especially at clubs like this.
“Thanks but I can handle myself.” She set her drink down on the counter and gestured for another. I resumed scanning the dance floor. People were moving.....oddly. Almost like they were dancing around something in the middle of the floor.
“So what brings you to the lovely city of Sin?” She asked not noticing my preoccupation with the dancers. I tore my eyes away from the dance floor.
“You’re nosy you know that?” She smirked and shrugged.
“Curious.” I smirked slightly and raised my glass to her before taking a drink. My eyes narrowed. Something was wrong. The people on the floor had started to part almost unconsciously as someone moved through them. The Sight slapped me in the face as I saw her. Pretty porcelain features, blonde hair piled up into a bun and held in place with chopsticks. Low cut black dress and a sinuous grace that made her look like a lion hunting in the savannah. Demon. I really need to be more careful for what I wish for.
