Hey all! Sorry it’s been a bit I’ve just been slammed with homework and holiday stuff. Here’s the next part! It may be a little dry but you’ve got a lot of information coming out of this chapter but the next one will be action packed for sure! Thanks a lot everyone!

“HOLY ROYAL BLUE FUCKING SHIT!” I screamed. “What the hell is wrong with you? Are you insane?” I gripped the counter, knowing that no one could survive from that. I heard a groan and moved my horrified expression form Ezekiel to Daniel, waiting to see the blood start to pool, but all I saw was Daniel leaning on the chair. He looked up at Ezekiel.

“Was that really necessary?”  He shrugged.

“She said in order to believe she had to see someone brought back from the dead. Since technically I can’t kill you, this was the next best thing.” Daniel groaned as he stood up and I watched with horror, but with a disturbed fascination, as the bullet wounds closed up. Like when you poke a fat person’s stomach. Yes I had done that as a kid.

“By shooting me?” Daniel still sounded as calm as could be, just slightly exasperated. I clutched the counter even harder. This was not happening, could not happen, it just wasn’t possible…

“Believe us now, Christina? Or do I have to shoot him again?” Daniel’s eyes widened and then he had the gun. How did he…? Oh shit.

“I think not Ezekiel.” He glared setting it on the table. My eyes locked on it. I could try and make a grab for it, but if they could move that fast than I was already screwed. Shit again.

“I wouldn’t try if I were you, Christina.” Ezekiel said in a bored voice, resting back down on his chair. “You see, there are very few things that can kill and angel, and even fewer things that you would normally find sitting around an ordinary house.” I shut my mouth and swallowed.

“Angels? Aren’t you supposed to be like,” I pointed at the ceiling. “Up there?” Daniel answered.

“Technically speaking yes, but there are a fair few, the warriors you could say, that have been sent down to fight the demons and keep them from destroying humanity.”

“So you’re men with halos and wings, cast out from heaven to fight demons?” I snorted despite all of it. “What is this? A video game?” Ezekiel snorted and leaned forward.

“Far from it Christina, although some have tried to capture heaven’s war with hell in a video game, stupid mortals.” Daniel shot him a glare and then looked at me.

“We are not cast out; those who are cast out are the Fallen, those who have been, for lack of a better term, kicked out of heaven, did I use that right?” Ezekiel snorted again.

“You have so much to learn about the twenty-first century, Daniel.” I pulled myself up so I could sit on the counter.

“Hello confused ginger here. How do you get kicked out of heaven?” Ezekiel smirked and leaned forward.

“There are a number of ways, falling in love with a mortal, disobeying the Word, sleeping with-“

“Ezekiel!” Daniel shouted as he stood up, abruptly blushing. “She is a young woman!” I cocked a brow at him.

            “You’re point?”

“Daniel was raised in the 1800s.” My jaw dropped. That would make him over two hundred years old! But he didn’t look a day over twenty-five! I’m not seriously going to believe this am I? It’s impossible!
