Danielle POV
I duck swiftly with my fast reflects and swipe to his feet as he stumbles to the ground. I use my net launcher to trap him to the ground with an indestructible net that sticks securely to the ground leaving only space for his big form. I run towards where Jen is still fighting the other huge man in full black. This man seemed much more stealthier and less clumsy compared to the man I fought a few seconds ago.
" you get Sarah out of the safe. I'll take care of him." I say rushing past her as i start throwing side kicks and dodging kicks and fists. Man was that man a good fighter.
Jen's POV
I rushed over to the control panel and typed in the password quickly but it kept denying the code. It must have been changed when the man locked Sarah inside. Ughhh. I tried moving the crane but a big warning sign popped up on the monitor attached to the system.
This safe, if given sudden movement, will send electrical currents to the crane's hook and will release the safe and thus harming any life forms inside.
This got me worried sick and to add to the mess I saw the man who locked Sarah inside lipping through a hole in the glass window that he must have made to enter. He was escaping. I reported quickly through my watch speaker.
" what ever you do Sarah do not make any sudden movements. And Danielle the bigger suspect is escaping."
" ok." Sarah said hesitantly.
" I'm on it." Danielle responded running after the man though the hole in glass window. As she moved she revealed the man in full black stuck to the wall with a bubble gum substance holding him down. She must have used the stretchy bubblegum packet that when blown out would trap anyone it comes in contact with, not the blower of course. She was good at this.
Sarah's POV
My X-ray contacts! I took them and placed them on my eyes. I saw the railing at the third store platform though the safe walls almost immediately. Maybe if I use my magnetic ring maybe I can swing the safe towards the metal pillar that was now in my sight. I turn the ring to full strength and activate the ring. The safe moves very slowly but I can't keep it for long and the rays stop letting the safe drop on the platform. I use my magnetic ring to slowly tun the tumblers and open the safe. It's a good thing I trained about safes when I told sir I couldn't open Mr. Robertson's state of the art safe in his office.
When I opened the door a wire was cut and I felt electrical currents go towards the crane's hook. The safe started to tilt over and all I could think was Jumpppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I jumped swiftly unsure of where I would land. I thought I was doomed until I felt the safe large hands of Joshua catch me and safely place me down. Before I could thank him. Jen runs up tugging me towards the wall leading to the hole in the glass window saying "We have to go. Danielle is up there trying to the treasure back."
I nodd simply as we both stealthily climb up. I slid through the hole and she followed. We reached the top and started running towards the battle scene that was Danielle the unknown thief (since their voices could not be tracked.)
" well it seems like you've brought back up. Well I have what I need so adios ladies." He said one he spotted us.
He jumps off of the building and soon his boots show rocket boosters.
" we don't have what we need yet. Come on girls." I say as we all jump off activating our get packs and following him though the beautiful streets of the city dodging building, signs and even build boards till we are finally close to him.
" I have an idea. " Jen exclaims." Cover for me"
Danielle and I do just as told and turn a different way to block the thief.
I see her use her magnetic ring and pull the thief towards her using his magnetic design in boots against him.
" hey! Turn that thing off. " he says harshly
" if you say so." She says still cheery as usual.
The rays disappear and he speeds off into an alley way dumpster.
"Well that was a fun way to take out the trash."
" indeed." I agreed shooting a net towards him with my net launcher.
"We'll take that." I say repeating his own very words whirl taking the jewel away from him and placing it back into the compartment.
