I walked in to the 7 just as Maddie came out of the bathroom. If she found out I was at Mia's, she'd be so upset.
"Hey, where were you?"
"I had go stop at the store for more pizza sauce."
"Oh. Can I have a strawberry smoothie?"
"Anything for you."
I hand her a smoothie.
"So, what were you doing?"
"Um...hanging with Emma."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Well I gotta go. See you tomorrow?"
"Yeah. Bye."
Maddie's POV
I have to go to Emma's house. I need her help.
DING! DONG! DING! DONG!
"Em, can you help me?"
"Sure. What is it?"
"Proxy's birthday is coming up and I want to throw him a surprise party."
"Okay. Who do you want to be invited?"
"You, me, Sofia, Andi, Gigi, T3, and Jax."
"What about Katie and Mia?"
"Katie yes. Mia no."
"Okay. Where do you want to throw it at?"
"The Beachside 7."
"What else?"
"Can you ask Daniel to sing?"
"Um...okay."
"Thanks! Tell everyone tomorrow."
I give her a hug and run to the door. I turn around.
"I have to get Proxy a present. I'll be back."
"What are you getting him?"
"I have no idea."
"What me to come?"
"Will you?"
"Of course. Let's talk to Jax, he's a boy. He knows what they like."
"I like Jax."
"What!!??"
"As a friend. We talked after school today. I think you guys are cute together."
"Really?"
"OMG! Your blushing!"
"Am not! Stop!"
"Okay. So what you like him, don't be ashamed."
