Maddie's POV
I wake up next to Proxy. I can't believe it. I'm no longer a virgin. I roll on my side and face a sleeping Proxy. I smile. I love him so much. I'm going to tell him. Today. I shower, get dressed, and walk down the stairs to make breakfast. I'm finally finished. I look at the kitchen. I'll fix it later. I walk back upstairs to wake Proxy up.
"Wake up, sleepyhead!"
He sits up and smiles.
"What!?"
"I've never seen you in sweatpants or in a sweatshirt."
"It's my weekend look. I look horrible."
"You look beautiful."
"Thanks. I made you breakfast."
"Really? I didn't know that you could cook."
"I have a lot of hidden talents. There's something I need to tell you."
He looks at me.
"What is it?"
"Remember when we were at the 7 and I needed to tell you something?"
"Yeah."
"I...um...I wanted to tell you that, I'm in love with you, Diego Ruedo."
He smiles and leans in.
"Really? Because I'm in love with you Madeline Van Pelt."
I smile and lean in the rest of the way, kissing him. He pulls away.
"I need to get dressed and go home."
"Oh. Okay."
"See you later?"
"Yeah."
He kisses my cheek. He walks downstairs and opens the front door. Then turns around and faces me.
"Hey."
"Mmmmm."
"I love you!"
I walk over to him and touch my nose against his.
"I love you, too!"
He kisses me and walks to his car. I shut the door and walk to the kitchen. Okay, I thought, now for cleanup duty. I do a spell and the kitchen is clean.
I walk upstairs and change my sheets and comforter. I go to my mirror and look at myself. I rub my neck and think about Diego kissing it. I rub my lips and think about our kisses. So passionate and loving. My thoughts are interrupted by my ringing phone. It's Emma.
Emma: "How are you?"
Maddie: "Perfect. I've never been better."
Emma: "You sound chippy. What happened last night?"
Maddie: "Come over and I'll tell you."
Emma: "Be there in 10
Maddie: "Great."
I hang up an go downstairs and wait for Emma.
