Still running. I turn the corner and SMACK! I run into someone.
"Hey, watch it!"
"Sorry! Emma is that you?"
I recognize that voice.
"Jax! What are you doing here? I thought you were in Rebal Bootcamp."
"I was. Your looking at a full-wizard."
"You passed?"
"Yeah. Can you believe that. First time."
He smiled. His white teeth shinning so bright I could see them, even in pitch black.
"Why you running? Are you crying?"
"For the exercise and no I'm not crying."
"You might be the chosen one, but your a bad liar."
"Am not!"
"Are to! Wanna ride?"
"Sure. Thanks!"
It's been a while since I've been alone with Jax. After he tried to destroy the Earth. He was sent to bootcamp. I've always liked him. Uh-no what am I going to do. I still like him, but I like Daniel too. I'll ask Maddie. She always knows what to do.
"This is my house. Thanks again!"
"No problem!"
He looks at me with those big brown eyes and I am so DAZZLED! I kiss his cheek.
"Goodnight!"
"Goodnight!"
I look behind me as Jax drives off. WOW! He is just so...WOW!
I pull out my phone.
