Diego's POV
Driving with Daniel to Mia's house. I want to find out why she used a marking on me. I'm kinda mad. I'm also kinda excited. I've met another Kanay before. I see her house.
DING! DONG! DING DONG!
Mia opens the door.
"Hi! What are you doing here?"
"I think you know why."
"You know about the marking?"
"Why did you do it?"
"We also know your a um...um..."
"A Kanay?"
"Yeah. Did you that I'm a Kanay too?"
Mia's POV
WHAT! Diego's a Kanay. I should've kept Spidey on him. Now that I know Diego's a Kanay, my revenge can be fun. I have to play dumb.
"What? I didn't know that."
"Yeah. I thought I was the only one!"
"Me too!"
"I would like to talk sometime. But first why did you use the marking on us?"
"I didn't know I had a marking."
"How did you get it on us?"
"Promise you won't get mad?"
"Promise."
"Okay, Daniel remember at that party and you were wasted?"
"Yeah."
"I drove you home and before you left my car you kissed me. I didn't stop you because I liked you. And I figured you were so wasted you wouldn't remember. The spider must've crawled on you when we were kissing. I'm so sorry!"
"It's fine. Emma can never know about this! Deal?"
"Deal? And it's not okay, I took advantage of you."
"And me?"
"Well, you were walking home from the 7 and you seemed upset. So I offered you a ride. I dropped you off and I kissed you. It wasn't long. You pulled away so fast. Like lighting... the spider must've done the same thing to you as it did to Daniel. I'm so sorry!"
"It's fine. Maddie can never know about this! Deal?"
"Deal! What is said in my living room stays in my living room."
"How did you know it was making us sick if you didn't know you had a marking?"
"Maddie and Emma stopped by. They told me that it was making you sick."
"You were there?"
"Yeah. I panicked when you saw me that I bolted."
Maddie's POV
"WOW! Emma you know what this means?"
"What?"
"Daniel cheated on you."
"I know. He can't know we know!"
Emma and I were listening at the window. We knew everything they were saying.
"You see how Mia's staring at Proxy?"
"Yeah. You sound jealous."
"I am! They're both Kanays. What if he dumps me again. I couldn't handle the pain again."
"He won't."
"You don't know that!"
"Mads, I see how he looks at you. He's in lo..."
BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ!
"What is that?"
"My phone!"
I scramble to silence it, but its too late. Mia, Daniel, and Diego spin around and see us sitting there.
"You think they see us?"
Emma rolls her eyes. "Nope they don't see us at all."
"Maddie, what are you doing here?"
"Um...um...Mia and I are working on a project and..."
" Save it Mads, I know your spying."
"You mad?"
"No just disappointed."
DANG! The disappointment card.
"I'll be in the car."
"Yeah. That's a good idea."
"I gotta go. Bye Daniel. Call me, Mia?"
"Yeah, okay!"
Emma's POV
I ran to the car before Daniel could ask why I was there.
"Danny..."
"I don't want to talk about it!"
"I'm not mad that you cheated. You were wasted. It's fine."
"EMMA!"
"What? You don't want to talk?"
"NO!"
"FINE! Drop me off here!"
"Why? It's 4 blocks from your house."
"Because I don't want to be in the car with you!"
I started crying and running home. The last thing I remember before turning the corner was Daniel shouting my name.
