Something New

Chapter 12

Ever since that day, things were looking up for the both of them. For the first week, they spent pretty much all of their time together just having sex. And while that was mind-blowing, Forth wanted to take Beam out and do other things with him and wanted to get to know more about him like what he liked and who he really was.

Beam called Forth one day after work to let him know that he had the next day off and Forth suggested that they go out and have a picnic. To his surprise, Beam readily agreed, he was fully prepared to try to convince him. So, he was over the moon and said, "I'll take care of everything. You just get your cute self ready to be picked up at noon tomorrow."

Beam chuckled at the excitement he could hear, he could almost picture Forth's adorable grin and the way his eyes lit up and said, "See you tomorrow then." Forth could hear the smile and wished that they were facetiming because he loved it when Beam smiled and felt cheated that he couldn't see it. But he just said, "See you babe, I got to get back to work now." They were both remained smiling for a long time after.

The next day, Forth showed up at Beam's doorstep right on time in a light and breezy shirt over a muscle tee and some joggers. He eagerly rang the bell and waited. Beam opened the door immediately, like he had been waiting for the doorbell and flashed Forth a huge smile, which almost knocked the wind out of him.

Forth thought that he would never get used to the brilliance of the guy's smile. Before he could recover, he had a hand full of Beam, and he laughed and hugged him back. Before they could kiss, they heard a displeased whine and a bark. Both of them turned to Racer and Beam chuckled and knelt before him said, "Aww come here you big baby, are you sad that I didn't greet you first." He petted the fluffy baby and gave him kisses. "There you go, who's a good boy?!" Racer put his tongue out looking like the happiest boy on earth.

Meanwhile, his dad looked ticked off, because the brat stole the other man's attention from him, and he didn't even get a hello kiss. Forth cleared his throat and said, "Alright that's enough love for him. Now come here and give me some sugar." Beam chuckled at his words, but thought that it was cute, so he got up and planted one on his lips.

Before Forth could deepen the kiss, he pulled away and walked to the jeep, Race right behind him. Leaving Forth staring at the man's ass, in those snug white pants that left nothing to the imagination. He looked over his shoulder, with a smirked and called out, "So, you just going to stand there and stare or are going to take me out?"

Forth smiled at his teasing and ran up to them and they set off to the picnic spot. Since Forth had done all the planning, Beam didn't know where they were headed. So, he kept asking Forth, but the man refused to answer him. He said, "Aw come on, we're almost there. If I tell you now, it'll ruin the surprise." Beam huffed but relented.

After a while, Forth stopped on a winding road and Beam was confused, "What's wrong? Why did we stop?" he asked with a head tilt. Forth just smiled and pulled out a bandana and said, "Babe, I need you to trust me and put this on, we'll be at the spot in a couple of minutes and I want the reveal to be awesome."

Beam didn't want to disappoint him, so he agreed and Forth tied the folded bandana gently around his eyes. They drove again up hill and then the car finally came to a halt and he heard Racer's excited barks and Forth's door opening. Then he heard his door open and a gentle hand took his, "Alright, we're here, now step out of the car and let me guide you to the best spot."

After a few shaky steps, Forth took off the blindfold. Beam blinked a little to adjust to the light, but then gasped at the beautiful clearing. There was even a clear stream through it, which Racer was thoroughly enjoying. It looked like it was right out of a fairy tale. He turned to Forth and asked, "Where is this place? It looks magical. How did you find it?"

Forth was overjoyed by Beam's reaction. "Well, I didn't exactly find it. It was my dad who found it, when I was young, mom, dad and I used to come here often. It was 'our spot' and we kept it guarded, like a family secret." He rubbed the back of his neck and came clean, "You are the first person I've ever brought here." He confessed.

Beam could not believe how adorable the other guy was being, so he walked up to him and pulled him into a passionate kiss. He pulled away and said, "Well, I am honored. Should we set up, under that tree?" he pointed to the big tree beside the stream. Forth grinned, "Yup." And bounded to the place.

It felt like they were the only two people in the whole world and Beam really wanted it to stay that way, he didn't have to worry about what anyone thought of anything. All that mattered was that they cared for each other.

Racer had tuckered himself out after running around like a maniac, so he curled up on a corner of the blanket, Beam was lazily laying on his back, with his eyes closed. Forth was on his side, gazing lovingly at Beam while tracing the contours of his face with a finger.

"You have no idea how much I love your dimples" he stated, while running his finger over his cheek. "And these lips drive me crazy." He stroked his lips, pulling down his bottom lip a little. "Not to mention this neck. I want to mark every inch of it." His trailed down his neck and Beam gasped when he hit a sensitive spot.

Forth couldn't take it anymore. He bent down and took Beam's lips in a bruising kiss and when Beam opened his mouth in a moan, he licked into the sweet heat that tasted a little like the wine that they had shared. It was intoxicating and Forth started to undo the buttons on Beam's shirt.

Once enough of them were undone, Forth's hungry gaze moved to his exposed chest and he stroked the muscles and grazed a stiff nipple, earning him a delicious gasp and a moan. Forth smirked and kissed his way down to that hardened nub to worship it with his tongue, and Beam shivered.

Forth's hands were at the button on Beam's pants when the doctor's phone went off. Beam's head still filled with lusty fog; he grabbed his phone. Forth saw him shift into surgeon mode instantaneously and was both bummed and proud at the same time. Before Beam could even hang up, he started packing their stuff up.

Beam hung up and started buttoning up his shirt. He turned to Forth with an apologetic look and started to say something but Forth was faster, "You have to go to the hospital huh?" "Yup" he said. Forth just kissed his forehead and said, "Let's get you there then." They left immediately and reached the hospital in half hour.

Before going in, he turned to Forth and said, "I'm so sorry we had to end our date like this." Forth leaned in and pecked those pouty lips, "Just go save a life and we'll call it even." Beam smiled and nodded. "Call me when you get off work. I'll pick you up." He said and drove off. As he walked into the hospital, he couldn't help but feel lucky to have Forth in his life.
