Beam was cursing himself for not driving himself there, his parents had picked him up. He was weighing his options, when, of all the people, Kong pulled up. He saw Beam standing there with red eyes and nose, anxious expression on his face, he asked, "Beam?! What's wrong?"

Beam looked at him and his world lit up, he ran to him and said, "P'Kong, I'll explain everything later. But I need to go find the love of my life right now. So please, can you lend me your car?" he pleaded. Kong was taken aback, but he nodded and said, "Of course, anything for love. Go get him tiger!" and tossed him the keys. Beam yelled out a thanks and peeled out of there.

Beam went to Forth's house, but he wasn't there. He called his phone, but it was switched off. So, he went to the only other place he knew where to look, Pring's nursery. Pring was taken aback when she saw Beam in a formal suit running up to her. He hurriedly said, "Pring, please tell me that Forth is here." Pring replied, "Oh honey, I just got here, but I don't think he's here."

Beam deflated but thanked her anyway and slowly walked to a wooden bench and sank into it almost as if his legs had given up their will to walk. He felt physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. Just as he was about to get back up, he heard a very familiar bark. He got up and saw an energetic Racer bounding up to him. He got on his knees and hugged and pet him, "God, Racey, I missed you so much."

Then, a light bulb in his head went off and he realized that this meant that Forth was here too. Just then he looked up to see Forth standing there in his cut off tee and ripped jeans, holding some pallets of wood. As soon as Forth saw him, he dropped what he was holding. To him Beam looked like a vision, so gorgeous in a suit, but his eyes were red rimmed and puffy, like he had been crying.

Beam ran up to him and Forth just said, "Beam!" in a reverent way, almost as if he couldn't believe that he was actually here. Beam didn't give him a chance to say anything else.

He looked up at him with teary eyes, "Forth, you must think I'm cowardly, neurotic, picky and quite honestly crazy and you'd be right. But I've realized that I've never had to be anything but truly myself with you. I never had to pretend that I was someone I wasn't. With you, I feel like I can do or say anything, try new things, be free to chose for myself and that's what I want, life as an adventure with you.

Forth couldn't believe what he was hearing, but because he didn't think he could bear losing Beam once again, he had to clarify, "Beam, I can't be the guy you settle for.

Beam moved closer to Forth and cupped his face, looking deeply into his eyes, "No Forth. I know in my heart that you're it for me, only you. I love you!" Forth tugged him even closer, by the waist and whispered against his lips, "I love you too Beam. I never stopped." Their lips crashed together and both of them knew then that they had found their homes in each other.

Just as Forth deepened the kiss, Beam tapped him on the chest and pushed him, to stop. He breathlessly asked, "What is it?" Beam, equally breathless, "Wait, what about your ex? I thought you got back together." Forth flinched and sheepishly said, "Well that. So, she came to me one day, begging to go with her to a party and pretend to be her boyfriend as one last favor. And I was not in my right mind then, so I agreed."

Beam hit him on his chest and said, "I almost had a full-blown panic attack because of that." Forth's eyes were full of concern and apology, "I'm a dick. I'm sorry, I was going to say something, but then I saw that guy all over you and I let my jealousy get the best of me. I'm so sorry babe."

Beam shook his head and said, "It's okay, It's all in the past now, we've both done dome stupid things." Then he got this gleam in his eyes, "We have to go now." He said, Forth was confused, "What? Where?" Beam just said, "Just come with me."

They got in the car and Beam drove to his parent's place. Beam looked at Forth and said, "I need to do this. I need to proudly introduce you to my parents. You in?" Forth grinned and said, "Always babe. But are you sure you want to do that when I look like this?" he looked down at his work clothes that were a little dirty from the site. Beam shook his head and said fondly, "I wouldn't want it any other way."

They walked in and Beam took Forth's hand and asked his parents to sit on the couch. He looked at them and said, "Mom, dad, this is Forth Jathurapoom Jamornhum, he is the man I love. I love him with all my heart. He might not be perfect in your eyes dad, but he's perfect for me and he's the only one I want and need. So, I hope you can accept us. If not, I'm sorry but I choose love. He turned to Forth and kissed him passionately right before their eyes.

His mom sprang up from the couch and whooped, "That's my boy." His dad just seemed stunned. She walked up to both of them and said, "Oh, don't worry about him, I've had a long talk with him, and I will do it again. Rest assured that he'll come around." She gave them both a tight hug. They bid them good-bye with a promise to come by later.

Beam drove them back to his place and the whole way, Forth could not keep his hands to himself, they were constantly touching Beam, like he had to make sure that it wasn't all just a dream. As soon as they got into the house, they were on each other, Forth pinned Beam to the door and devoured his mouth and ripped his jacket off and his vest. He was about to rip the shirt when Beam stopped him.

Forth groaned and picked him by his thighs, and Beam automatically wrapped his legs around his waist. He resumed the kisses and now moved to Beam's throat, he sucked some bruises and his hand started kneading one luscious globe through his pants. Beam moaned, but panted out, "Forth, Forth, baby, please wait."

Forth looked up at that, "You just called me baby for the first time. Say it again." Beam blushed and wiggled till Forth let him down, "I'll call you whatever you want, but I want to go to the backyard for a little bit. Please." He said, pouting. Forth could never deny him anything, he sighed, "I'm going to have to learn to resist that face." But he followed him out the sliding door.

Beam turned all the lights on, and when they were at the gazebo, he took both of Forth's hands in his own and looked into his eyes, "Forth, you built me this beautiful space, you made my life more vibrant, you opened my heart up to my own emotions, you made me want to be a better person, It might be too soon, but I don't want to wait anymore. So, Forth Jathurapoom Jamornhum, will you marry me?"

Forth, who was already grinning with tears in his eyes, pulled him into a kiss. When they pulled apart, Beam asked, "So...?" Forth laughed and said, "Of course I will babe." And in his happiness, he carried Beam all the way to the bedroom, because they had to make up for a lot of lost time.

A/N - Happy ending of course and a huge thank you to everyone who stuck with me to the end. I'd love to hear what you thought about this fic!

I might do an epilogue. What do you think? Should I do it? Please let me know.
