Chapter 2

I made my way home after a long day with Connor. As I walked in zina came running at me and I picked her up. Zina was a gift from Connor for my birthday this year. She's a cute little husk pup with blue eyes.

He said that its an early gift to keep me company. I absolutely love her and not just because I love dogs but because she was a gift from Connor.

I walked into the kitchen we're mom left a note telling me dad took her out to eat. I'm glad they are having fun, all they've done is take care of me.

I sighed and zina barked, I hugged her tighter. "Looks like it just you and me" I kissed her little nose, putting her back on the floor.

After eating some pasta I went to lay down early. I was petting zina and looking around my room when I spotted my sash and crown on the wall from prom.

I smiled and walked up to it.

~Flash Back~

"Don't worry so much Em we are so gonna win this!" Con yelled threw the crowed. I was really nervous, they were about to call out queen and king for prom.

I may not be super popular but I do know almost everyone.

Everyone gathered around the stage, ready to hear who would become king and queen. The head of the prom committee was handed the envelopes.

"Ladies and gentlemen your prom king is.....️Connor Martin!" The crowed cheered as he went up to get his crown.

I laughed as he fist pumped the air, then I sucked in a deep breath ready to hear who won queen.

"And now your prom queen is, drum roll please........Emma carter!"

I stood there surprised with tears starting to form in my eyes. " come on Emma!" Connor yelled.

I ran up hugged Connor and accept the crown. Everyone cheered as Connor spun me around. Later the principle announced for us to have our dance as King and queen.

We danced to when I look at you by Miley Cyrus, I love this song. We looked into each others eyes the whole time, it felt like we were the only ones there.

As the music ended our faces came closer and closer until our lips met. Everyone cheered as we parted. Still looking at me he smiled "you are very beautiful my queen" I blushed.

"Come on let's get something to drink my lady" I laughed as we walked over to the snack table. Soon after everyone was on the dance floor.

"I'm really lucky to have such a beautiful queen to accompany me on this beautiful night" Connor kisses my hand. I blushed again a deep red.

"You look so cute when you blush Em" he chuckled. I slapped his arm as he made a no you didn't face.

We burst out laughing and that's how the night went on.

Laughter and happiness.

~End Of Flash Back~

That was a very magical day for me, a girls perfect prom with the perfect date. To bad the happiness didn't last long enough.

In just two days everything went to the trash.

"Why.....all I want to know is why, us?" I whispered to myself. Taking a deep breath I cleaned the tears that where threatening to come out.

I placed the sash and crown back were it was and laid back on my bed, turning of the lights Drifting into a deep slumber.
