Chapter 7

"WATERMELON!!!!"

I jolted awake and fell on off my bed.

"Ow what the hell" I rubbed my head and looked over my bed. Sammy was standing by my door with a plate of watermelon.

How did I get to my bed? Hm Caleb must have brought me after I fell asleep.

Most importantly......

"Sammy please explain to me why you yelled before I kick your ass" I slowly got up from the floor.

"I wanted to ask you if you wanted some" he showed me the plate.

"You made fall of my bed to ask me if I wanted watermelon" my voice grew with each word.

"Um yes?" He slowly started to back away.

"You couldn't have waited till I woke up!" I lunged at him.

He let out a loud squeal and ran. I chased him into the kitchen.

"Caleb help she's crazy!" Caleb came into the kitchen and laughed.

I was trying to get Sam who was on the other side of the counter.

"Come here sam I won't hurt you" I reached for him but he moved to the other side.

"That is a lie and we all know it!" I lunged at him again from across the counter but he moved.

"Stop moving!" He looked back at me and stuck his tongue out.

"No"

"That's it come here!" I ran towards him. He screamed and dropped the watermelon he was still holding.

It was to late to stop so being the clumsy person I am slipped on it and fell on my ass.

Again.

"Noooo she wasn't readyyyy" I glared at Caleb who was just laughing his ass off.

"Seriously, you had to say that" he just nodded.

"Ugh I'm living with idiots" I sighed and laid back down on the floor.

( 3 hrs Later )

"We've been sitting here doing nothing and I'm super bored" Caleb groaned.

"Well what do you want to do then?" I was bored as well.

"How about we go to the park we went to as kids? I haven't been there in a long time." Sam said coming from the kitchen with a bag of chips.

"Sounds good to me. Lego!" Caleb yelled.

Maybe it will be good to go back....

We walked there since it was a really nice day today.

"SWINGS. WOOP. WOOP!" Sam ran towards them. I laughed and went after him.

I sat down and started to swing. "You know I haven't been here in over a year now?" The guys looked at me.

"Why is that?" Caleb asked from the slide he was using as a bed.

"Bad memories"

~Flash Back~

"Come on lazy poke!" I ran towards the swings.

"Had up Em your really fast!" Connor yelled.

"Aw come on you can do it!" I laughed and started to swing.

Connor soon made it to me but he didn't seem to good.

"Are you okay? Do you want some water?" I got up and stood In front of him.

"No, no I'm okay my head just hurts a little" I started to lead him to the tables.

"Maybe you should sit for a while." Before I could make it to the table he collapsed.

"Connor, Connor what's wrong!" I tried to wake him up but he would wake up.

I started to scream for help.

Later that day I found out a secret he had been keeping from me for over 3 months.

~ Flash Back Over~

"So that's the day you found out?" Sam grabbed my hand.

"Yeah, that was the day my so called perfect world came crashing down." I breathed in and out.

The day I found out Connor had cancer.

A tear ran down my face.

"Let's not talk about it right now. Let's just have fun okay?" I wiped my face and smiled at Sam.

"Okay"

And that's exactly what we did.
