Dream had jumped when he saw a Sans he'd never met before out in the Doodlesphere. He seemed lost.
"I- I'm Ccino, it's nice to meet you, um, yellow Sans guy."
Dream giggled at Ccino's silly nickname, momentarily losing his weariness of the new Sans to his positivity.
"I'm Dream, and I'm not a Sans, silly! I'm just a little old skeleton!"
Ccino blinked.
"You don't look old-"
Dream giggled again and hunched himself over the best he could, his voice mimicking that of an old man's.
"Oh yes I am, kiddo. Didn't you learn to respect your elders?"
Ccino let out a small laugh, this Dream guy was funny.
"Hehe, you seem loss where are you headed?"
"I don't know, I certainly can't go back to my AU, I figured there would be a place for me somewhere out here."
"Oh... Maybe you can join me and my friends! We protect the Aus from evil Sanses like Nightmare-"
"Nightmare?!?"
"Yes? Do you know him?"
"N-no, I just recognize the name... Yeah."
"oh uh, well, you can come with me if you'd like!"
"Sure..."

And then they fall in love and adopt 30 more cats and Nightmare kinda just sits in the background not giving a frick that his boyfriend just left him for a lightbulb
