The Mentally Brave

Chapter 7

"You made me faint!" I say when I wake up. Harry is hovering over me.

"How is it my fault?" He asks

"Because- B-because.. Haaa never mind" I push him off me and sit up.

"How did I get to the floor?" I ask

"Um.. you just fainted" Harry gives me a weird look

"Yeah.. But I was sitting on the coach" I tap on the seat next to me

"You slipped off" Harry explained.

I touch my head to look for any injuries

"You won't have any, I caught you in time" He grins at me.

"I need to get back home- if Natalie awakes and finds I'm gone she will have a fit" I get to my feet.

"My friends will be showing up later.. remember you asked for help" Harry stands up too.

"I didn't ask, you insisted on helping without my permission" I frown and cross my hands.

"Well you need me, anyway do you really want to go through all this alone?" He challenges me.

I look at him. His green eyes. Those lips I was so close to kiss. "Fine. When are they coming over?" I asked him.

He looks at the time "You have about two hours, come I'll take you home" He gets his keys and walks to the door, holding it open for me.

The weather is cooler today. My body vibrates from the morning chill.

"Here take this" Harry hands over his jumper.

"Thanks" I pull it over my head. Harry helps me fold the sleeves so my hands will show. The length of the garment gets almost down to my knees. We walk to the motorbike, him helping me walk on my bad leg.

Once again I get on in back of him, wrapping my arms round his waist, and bringing them up to his chest. I lean my chin on his shoulder.

"You ready?" He asks

"Yes" I answer him.

When we get to my house I invite Harry in for breakfast.

As Harry takes a seat in front of the eggs he helped me make, my mum comes down the stairs.

"Good morning hun- Well hello Harry" She smiles brightly as she notices him sitting at our kitchen table.

My mum helped Harry a lot with his rehabilitation after the crash, so they grew close. That was also another way for Natalie to gather information on him so easily.

"Hi Rose" Harry got up to give my mum a hug

"Look at you, haven't seen you in a while, what a delight to have you here"

"I've missed you too" He smiles at her.

"And what are you doing up so early? When did you get home? You weren't here when I came back last night" My mum said

"Yes, something came up, and I need to um.. help Harry with something so we will be leaving soon" I say.

'I didn't know they were friends' I hear my mum's mind

"Hi Harry" Natalie walks in with Mushroom at her side. When Mushroom sees Harry he runs up to him, jumping up. Harry chuckled stroking his fur.

"He misses you, now that Lizzie is back home walking him" My mum laughs

"What is this? You used to walk my dog?" I am amazed "How come this is the first time I'm hearing about this?"

"When Harry stopped needing the crutches he had to do some walking around, and I thought it could be a wonderful idea if he walked Mush" My mum was all smiles
