Harry's POV

As I get closer to Lizzie I can tell something isn't right. She looks pale and scared. It seems she is running from someone. How the hell does she keep getting in trouble?
Just when I reach her, her eyes roll back, her knees buckling, as she falls. I stretch out just in time to catch her in my arms, and hold her against me.
"Lizzie" I call her name as I lay her slowly onto the pavement. She is unconscious.
"Damn it" I mutter under my breath. I was here to shout at her, how the hell can I tell her off when she's like this?
"Harry"
I look up to find Michael standing above us, two guards on either side of him, one of them holding on to a boy- he looks about Luke's age, and he is staring at the ground.
"You won't touch us" I glance up at Michael
"No, but you do want my help" He gives me a sly smile
"What makes you so sure?"
Michael nods towards Lizzie his head angled.
"I made it very clear to Simon- he will not get his hands on her" I hiss leaning close to the side of Lizzie's head that lay against my chest.
"Then you're punishing her to a life full of pain"
"The hell with all of you-" I am cut off by a phone ring. Michael smiles taking the phone out of his pocket "I think this might be for you" He hands it over.
"I don't want to speak to him" I shake my head still holding to Lizzie.
"Don't be foolish" Michael snaps.
I take the phone from him reluctantly and answer.
"Harry, listen to me please"
"Do I have a choice?"
"You do, but you should listen for Lizzie's sake"
"You have two seconds" I tell him looking at Michael as I hold the phone to my ear, and Lizzie's upper body to my chest.
"Is she suffering in any way?" He questions. Is that concern I hear in his voice?
"What did you do to her?" I am attempting to keep my voice under control but finding it hard with every passing moment.
"I didn't touch her I promise you, but you must bring her in to me"
"I must? I don't need to do anything for you"
"Harry listen- she is in danger, but I can fix it- she's suffering from headaches if I'm not mistaken"
"I don't need you- I'll take her to the hospital"
"And say what? She is dead remember? They won't look at her, and they can't fix what's wrong"
"I'll take my chances" I hang up the phone and toss it back at Michael who catches it with one hand.
"You will be coming for help. Mark my words" He looks down at me. Then they turn and started to walk away. The boy looks back at us, a sad look on his face, before I can do anything he is pushed by one of the guards and turns his head back.
I take out my phone and dial "Liam, I need your help"

"Where am I?" I look around at my surrounding. It seems I'm back at the suite. I look down at my arms.
"Take them out" I say squeezing my eyes shut after seeing the needles stuck in my flesh.
"Calm down Liz" Harry takes a hold of my hand stroking it lightly with his thumb.
"What happened?" I open my eyes looking up at his face.
"You fainted" His eyes are gleaming.
"So what are these needles doing here?"
"Lizzie, something's wrong with you, we need to find out what it is"
"Where is Ashton? We were being chased" I sit up, trying to get out of bed. However my head is spinning, making me stumble and almost fall over. Harry getting up to his feet, catches me in time and sits me back down on the bed.
"He was taken back to the company, and don't get up again"
"Harry- he is one of us, he led me to you" I remember now.
"What do you mean? I don't even know who this Ashton is" Harry looks surprised.
"But he knew.. I tried reading him- but then my head" I have a sharp pain zap through me again. My hands lift to my head, Harry's hand follows soon after and rests on my forehead.
"Oh good- Lizzie, you're up" Ed comes into the room "So we got your scans back and they all seem fine" He looks from me to Harry "And the blood work is all right too"
"In that case can you take these things out of me please?" I ask.
"Well, I guess so, but first we need to make sure you have enough fluids in your body"
"Please take them out, she won't shut up unless you do, and I do like my quiet" Harry grumbles.
What is wrong with him? I give Harry one of those looks that are saved just for him as Ed takes care of the needles. Harry holds on to my hand squeezing my fingers slightly so I won't pay attention to the nurse.
"How do you know all this doctor stuff?" I ask Ed when the needles are gone "And where did you get it all in the first place?"
"There are a lot of things about me my dear that you have yet to learn" Ed winks walking away.
Harry and I are left alone. My head doesn't hurt anymore, thanks to Harry blocking away the pain. I look up at his watching eyes.
"You were scared in the park- why?"
"I can't remember, I was being chased"
"This was different, you've been chased before, I never seen you like this"
I kept quiet not knowing what to answer him.
"Lizzie, are you still cross with me? Because of not telling you about who my dad is?"
"I don't know.. I mean I'm not sure anymore, Niall explained, something you should have done, I'm all confused- Is that why your dad wants me so much? Because I have some of Amy in me?" I whisper to him
"I don't know..." Harry gets up and looks out the window "You know, Amy believed the world was one big fairy tale, that everyone was good, everyone was pretty"
"I used to believe in fairy tales, especially when I first found out what I can do- it fit right in- But I don't anymore. They don't come true, we don't all get happy endings" I stare at him, my brow furrowed with pain and worry watching him silently as he is lost in whatever thoughts were making his eyes so dark and anguished... possibly thoughts about his long gone sister.
"You don't believe you will have a happy ending?" Harry turns back to me after some time, letting me know he did hear me after all.
"Look at all that has happen to me, and keeps happening, I'm damaged. Nothing good will come of me"
"Don't say that" He moves to my side, taking my face in his palms, bringing himself to eye level with me. "Look at all you have done! For your family, for your sister- for us- you helped save Perrie, you help save me"
"I did nothing, we are all part of a game, you father's game, he made us who we are, like robots. We keep running, but at some point my strength will run out, and whoever is trying to get me will catch up to us."
"I won't let anyone touch you, no one will harm you- it's a promise"
"Don't promise things you can't keep" I gaze up at him
"I will stop him- even if it's the last thing I will ever do" Harry takes my hands sitting himself beside me on the bed.
"Are we going back to the safe house?"
"You want to go back?" A smile twitches on his face.
"I do.. I miss EL.. and.. I want to see Lou"
"Lizzie" Harry whispers to me
"Mm?"
But he doesn't answer.. Instead he brings his face closer to mine, taking my lips with his, in a soft kiss. I touch his cheek lightly with my finger, feeling the place his dimples appear when he smiles.
"I missed you" He brakes our touch, eyes glittering.
"I was cross with you" I put my hands down on his thighs.
"Not anymore" He mimics my move, touching my crossed legs.
"You have a way with you to make me forget why I should be so angry"
"That's a good thing.. for me" He smiles his cheeky smile. I watch as his hands go up and down my thighs, a little higher every time.
I look at the door, closing it with my mind, so we could have some privacy. That's when my head felt as if it would explode again. I hold tight to Harry's thighs, shutting my eyes and bringing my head forward until it collided with Harry's chest.
I let out a sound of pain, those kinds of sounds that come out when you hold your scream in.
"Lizzie" Harry holds my shoulders.
"My powers, they hurt" I whimper.
"Ed" Harry shouts touching my forehead once more.
"What's up?" He peeks in.
"Run those tests again" Harry demands.
"We ran them a million times mate, there is nothing."
"RUN THEM AGAIN" Harry shouts.
"What's wrong with me?" I am scared. I am in pain.
"Lizzie.. do you trust me?" Harry asks me quietly, the shouting and dark eyes gone now.
"I try to"
"I need you to trust me on this"

Walking up the steps, I feel myself trembling, and I know it's not just because of where we are going, but also because of where we had been. When Harry and I been here last, I was on the verge of losing it, never giving Harry a chance to explain all those secrets that came spilling out. It felt bizarre to be here again, and this time us coming willingly. Well sort of willingly.
Inside the main hall, all is quiet. I take Harry's hand in mine, stepping closer to him. His thumb runs over mine as if to calm me.
We hear footsteps behind us. I glance over my shoulder to see Harry's dad coming our way. I look up at Harry. The look in his eyes pierce me. For just a moment the years fall away and he is that boy I used to watch play with his little sister at the play ground.
I shiver, overwhelmed. Harry sees that and puts his arm around my shoulders as we turn to face his father.
"You did the right thing coming here" Dr. Cowell says as he reached us
"Sure we did" I reply trying to keep the sarcastic tone down, after all, he was helping me. Harry takes a step forward pushing me in back of him, still not trusting his father around me.
"Now Harry, we're all on the same team here" Dr. Cowell puts his hands together.
"Sure we are" Harry mimics me.
"This way then" The doctor gestures for us to follow after him.
Harry gives my hand a little squeeze of reassurance as we tail his father.
"The pain starts up when?"
"Whenever I try and use my abilities" I tell him.
We walk down the quiet hallway until we get to a new corridor I have never been at.
"Nice isn't it?" The doctor smiles as we walk into a room.
I am sure he will put me at one of those rooms on the floor we were kept prisoners, but instead he brought us here.
This seems brand new. The walls are painted a soft light green, a queen size bed in the middle. Curtains on the right wall hiding a window.
There is a dresser on the left, a dark colour wood, with three drawers, a night stand next to the bed with a white lamp.
"You see this switch?" The doctor asks flicking it off
"The same as the one down stairs" I say remembering the switch that turns off our powers
"Yes, it is flicked off now, and that should stop the pain until we understand what is wrong"
"I don't really have a choice do I?" I look from the doctor to Harry.
"Well you can live with the pain if you want" The doctor shrugs.
"Leave it off" I decide.
"Get comfortable, our doctor should be with you in a few moments"
I leave Harry's hand and sit down on the bed.
"Harry I need to have a talk with you for a moment"
"Well you can talk to me here, I'm not leaving Lizzie" Harry remarks.
"It will only be in the next room, and she will not be harmed here" The doctor promises
Harry glances at me not sure what to do
"Go Harry, I'll be fine" I give him a small smile
"I'll be right back"
I watch as they walk out of the room and close the door after them.
I look around once again taking it in. I hope we don't need to stay here long and we can soon leave back to the safe house.
Our friends left earlier today, Ed staying behind to help Harry. He also took Harry's motorcycle back with him leaving us to travel by bus or cab.
I get up and walk to the window, wanting to see what kind of landscape is showing from here. I move back the curtains. A gasp escapes my mouth as I take a step back.
"Shocking isn't it?"

I look back to find scar face closing the door behind him and turning the lock "Finding a wall instead of a window"

"What are you doing here?" I back away, my shoulders touching the windowless wall.
"Its payback time" He gives me a sly smile. He is much closer to me then what I had first realized. I brake to my right trying to pass him and get to the door. I feel his fingers close on my hair and feel the pain when he pulls me back by it.
"You see love, I'm stronger without powers" He has an arm around my shoulders holding me in front of him against his body. I want to gag having him touch me.
I notice the arm against my chest had a cast on it.
"Your doing love" With that he lets me go stumbling onto the bed. I turn my head to see where he is, when His cast hand collides with my face. I fall back first on the bed, scar face climbing on top of me, pinning my hands to the sides of my head, each knee of his on either side of my body holding me down with his weight.
I am watching as he brings his head down to my neck. I try breaking free but it is no use. He is much stronger than me. When I feel his tongue run across my flesh I do the only thing I had yet to try- I scream.
