(Y/n's POV)
I stand in front of my closet with a disappointed face. "Dress formal he said, it'll be easy he said." I groan.
A few mornings ago, Yoongi had asked me on a date before I left for home, I leave tomorrow and Yoongi had just mentioned the date was going to be a party his team is having for the start of the season. When I asked what to wear he mentioned formal, but I didn't come here to have dinner with one of the top ten basketball players of Seoul, I came here to take care of one.
Which means no formal dress.
"Are you seriously still standing there? It's been hours." Seokjin said as he walked into my room, sitting at the edge of the bed.
"Hey man, you try finding a formal dress to wear." I say. Seokjin shrugs his shoulders, standing up and leaving the room. And just like that, the conversation was over.
I stood in front of the closet for a little while longer, deciding I was going to have to tell Yoongi I don't own anything formal. Maybe him and I just need to find something that will fit the both of us.
I shut the closet doors, throwing myself onto the bed with a groan. No more then ten minutes pass when Seokjin walks back into the room, a handful of long gowns. "What in the hell..." I mumble, standing up to take half off of his arms.
"Lara never cleaned out her closet, so I decided to grab any long formal dress that has a tag on it," I raise a brow. "If it has a tag on it, Yoongi won't know it was Lara's. She would've never worn it." I nod my head. That's actually not a bad idea...
I sort through the dresses until I find one that really caught my eye. It was a fitted navy blue dress with what looked to be rhinestones flooding it. I looked at it for a little longer until the price caught my eye. "HOLY SHIT $6500-" Seokjin slaps his hand over my mouth.
"She was a classy woman with a stick up her ass, are you really that surprised?" He asked as he removed his hand.
"Seokjin I can't wear a $6500 dress..."
"Who said?" He asked. I go to answer but then close my mouth. "Exactly. Just go try it on, if you feel uncomfortable that's fine. We still have six more dresses to look through." I sigh, deciding to go with what Seokjin said and try it on.
Once I get the dress on I have to suck in everything I have to zip it up, Lara may have been a classy woman with a stick up her ass but that's what probably got her to fit in this dress. As soon as I felt the zipper hit the top, I relax.
"Does it fit?" Seokjin asked. I look at myself in the mirror, completely ignoring Seokjin. I ran my hand across the rhinestones, I could literally feel the $6500...
I open the door and smile at Seokjin. "So?" I asked.
Seokjin smiled wide. "You look beautiful Y/n, it fits you well." I run my hands down the dress, moving different fabric around as I get a feel to it. "Do you like it?" He asked.
I nodded. "I really do, I hope Yoongi does as well."
"I do," Yoongi says from the door, rolling in with his scooter only to stop in front of me. "You look stunning, I hope you're wearing this tonight." Yoongi leans over and kisses the top of my head, then rolling to the edge of the bed to sit next to Seokjin.
Seokjin claps his hands. "I'm a genius, no need to thank me guys." He gloats. Yoongi shook his head as Seokjin pats himself on the back.
I go back into the bathroom to take the dress off as well as take the tags off the dress. As soon as I have the entire dress unzipped, I was able to feel my entire body relax and breathe. I get dressed in the clothes I had on prior, walking out of the bathroom I go back into the closet and hang the dress.
The party was later tonight and went until midnight, so I have a few hours to get ready. "Are you nervous?" Yoongi asked as I sat between him and Seokjin. I would understand why Yoongi might be concerned if I was nervous or not, I was. But my question was,
"A little. Are you?"
"Yeah I am actually. The last time they saw me was passed out with my ankle sticking out, now I'm all of a sudden rolling in there feeling like a million bucks." Seokjin and I laugh. He has a point, he hasn't seen his teammates for a while now, they must be curious to see if Yoongi was actually going to show or not.
I rub his back. "I'm sure they'll be happy to see that you're alive and well, I'm more nervous about the fact that you're going to a party with a scooter." Yoongi slaps my arm.
"Leave Frankie out of this okay?" Oh my god...this man named his scooter.
"FRANKIE?" Seokjin yelled before throwing his head back in laughter, I shake my head laughing.
"YEAH FRANKIE, HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT?" Yoongi retorted back, attempting to stand.
"Woah, slow down tiger. You know that thing can still bust open right?" That seemed to calm Yoongi down some as he lowered himself back down on the bed.
Seokjin and Yoongi had both calmed down from their little dispute earlier, and it was finally time to kick the two of them out of my room in order for me to get ready.
Again, I hadn't packed much in the first place so I was running on little supplies here. So I did my best to make it work. I had decided to go with a smoky eye, seeing as it'll compliment the blue nicely.
The one thing I did pack, was a pair of heels. I dig out the pair of heels that sat at the bottom of my suitcase and set them out next to the dress. Soon after I had finished my makeup I got started on my hair, leaving it down so it could frame my face.
"Are you almost done?" Seokjin called from outside of my room.
"Yeah! Zipping it up now." I say as the zipper reaches the top. I adjust anything that might need adjusting, then slip the shoes on my feet. I open the door to see both Seokjin and Yoongi waiting. "How do I look?" I asked.
The two boys remained silent. That was either a good thing...or a bad thing. "You look- wow." Yoongi stuttered. Seokjin silently pats himself on the back, still believing he did some sort of charity work.
"I'll take your response in a good way, thank you. You look just as wow." I respond causing Yoongi to smile.
"Let's get going," He said before turning his attention to Seokjin. "Do you mind driving?" Seokjin looked at Yoongi with disbelief.
"You just kind of assumed I'd drive didn't you?" Yoongi shrugs.
I chuckle. "Fine I'll drive, but only because I did such a good job picking out Y/n's dress." Seokjin jogged down the stairs to start the car while Yoongi and I slowly made our way down the stairs.
Yoongi had just gotten done with physical therapy when he first came in and saw the dress, Jeongguk had given him the okay to try and lightly walk on his foot. So far, he's doing very well.
"Here's Frankie." I said as I handed the scooter off to Yoongi. Yoongi snags him out of my hands causing me to laugh.
Yoongi scoffs. "Just go get in the car."
With pleasure...
