(Y/n's POV)
A few hours had passed from the moment downstairs, Seokjin knocked a few times and asked if he could get me anything but I told him no every time, it was thoughtful of him to ask. He left the rest of my food in the fridge for me to eat when I was ready.
After lunch was over I heard Yoongi going up the stairs, Seokjin by his side to hold his scooter as well as offer support. Nothing had been said between the two besides what Seokjin had said to Yoongi when I left. Every once in a while I'd hear Yoongi ask a question, but Seokjin refused to answer.
It feels selfish of me to be in my room, sulking and being upset when I was the one who upset Yoongi in the first place. I talked about something personal to him with another person when it wasn't any of Aria's business in the first place.
Nor was it mine.
"Y/n?" I hear from outside the door. "It's Jin, can I come in?" He asked politely.
"Doors unlocked," I call out. I sit myself up in bed and fix my hair to make myself look presentable. Seokjin shut the door behind him and gave me a smile. "What can I do for you?"
"You can tell me how you're doing?" Seokjin took a seat at the end of my bed.
I shrug. "I'm okay, just feeling sorry for myself is all. I'll get over it."
"He shouldn't have talked with you that way Y/n, Yoongi should have approached the situation a little calmer. I'm not defending him in anyway but he struggles with this type of stuff, for so long he was closed off. When I became his manager weeks went by where he wouldn't talk to me and when he did, he opened up a little bit at a time. His whole problem is trust and by letting someone he barely knows in so fast, is rough. It's something he has to work on."
I held my head down. "I understand where he's coming from, but it's my fault for getting into his business in the first place. I kept asking you questions about everything when it really wasn't any of my business. Aria just, doesn't drop anything and I knew that so I thought I'd shut her up quick." I chuckled.
Seokjin reaches over and grabs my hand. "I think Yoongi understood that as well, he just didn't know how to respond to it. Plus, I didn't have to answer any of those questions. But I have a feeling you're going to be around a lot longer then the few weeks you're here. I might as well clear a few things up while I can." Seokjin winks and I roll my eyes. "I have your food downstairs, why don't we go down and I'll sit with you while you finish, give Yoongi whatever meds he has, then we can watch a movie. Sound good?" I nod my head as Seokjin helped me out of bed, bringing me into his arms once both of our feet were on the ground.
"You're doing great, it'll get better with time. Trust the process." He whispers. I nod my head in his chest.
Seokjin gave off the vibe of an older brother. He was very protective of those he cherished. Even if you're a little new to his world he'll do anything in his power to make sure you feel protected, happy and safe.
It was something I missed every single day.
The two of us headed downstairs talking back and forth about our lives before our careers, Seokjin used to live with his mom and assist her with their family restaurant before he got the job with Yoongi. This wasn't something he had always wanted to do, but he took the opportunity when he had it.
I grab a sandwich out of the fridge and take a seat at the island. "Is physician something you've always wanted to do?" Seokjin asked as I ate my food.
"Yeah it has been. I lost my brother a few years back and it encouraged me to help people like him. If no more help is needed or nothing else can be done, I would at least want to be there when they take their final breath." I explain.
"I'm very sorry for your loss, I understand the pain of losing someone close." I look at Seokjin as a way to let him know I'm listening. "My dad died when I was eighteen. It was graduation night and before they called my name up to the stage, a teacher came over and ushered me backstage where she told me my dad had gotten into an accident. He was running late from work and didn't want to miss his only sons graduation, so he tried to speed over and ran a red light, he later died that night from a brain bleed. It wasn't only hard for me, but my mom as well. We still had our family restaurant to run and without my dad, the place felt like pure chaos. But we made it through, my dad would be proud."
I could see a small tear run down Seokjin's cheek, raising my hand I wipe it away with my thumb. "I'm sorry to bring back these horrible memories. But not as sorry as I am for your family, your dad would be so proud of who you have become." Seokjin nods his head, grabbing a napkin and wiping his nose.
"It's such a sappy night." Him and I both laughed. "But that's okay, sometimes you need those nights where you let out all of your emotions and cry, whether it be alone or with someone." I nod my head in agreement.
I finally finish my plate of food and place the dishes in the sink before grabbing Yoongi's meds, putting them into a medicine cup and taking it upstairs. I knock on his door, hearing a 'come in' from inside.
I open the door and smile. "I have meds, same as earlier except the pain meds. They're stronger for night time." Yoongi's takes the cup out of my hand and downs the pills like earlier, drinking out of a water bottle he had sitting on his bedside.
Yoongi hands the cup back to me, I smile once more before making my way out of his room, stopping at the sound of his voice. "I'm sorry." He apologized.
I turn around. "We're both at fault here, things have been said and it's done. I'll see you tomorrow morning, sleep well." Yoongi replied with a 'you too' as I shut the door quietly, jogging down the stairs and into the kitchen where I threw away the medicine cup.
"How is he?" Seokjin asked. I shrugged.
"He's fine, took his meds well," I grab a blanket from the basket they had sitting next to the TV and make myself comfortable on the couch. "So, that movie?" Seokjin and I laugh.
"I'm on it."
