Alice in Wonderland

I was just watching the movie Alice in Wonderland and I just realized how deep it really is...I'm not sure if it's meant to be this way or if I am just reading to much into this movie because of my experiences.

People expect so much of Alice and she doesn't know whether she is right in not wanting to do what they want or if she is just crazy...which is basically what happens to a lot of people. Parents expect so much of their children they want things that maybe the kids don't want but they have to do it because the parents "are always right".

Or when the animals show Alice the map in which she is fighting and she says it's not her. It's a map and apparently it's not her. She hasn't found herself, she doesn't know who she is or what she is capable of.

The weird thing though is that for her to realize that she was her own person and that she didn't need to do everything people told her to do she had to fight her way out of her inter-turmoil by fighting a dragon and drinking its blood.

She found a way to fight her fears. What if I never find mine?
