.Chapter 6.

Katerina's POV

I think that I managed to fall asleep during the car ride because I woke up and well we were far away from The hotel we were driving through a forest but we passed around 2 or 3 huge houses like mansions they were all gated and well they were at least 5 miles apart from each other but we were still not stopping . After around 30 more minutes of driving we pulled up to an insanely large house like something straight out of Magazine or a billionaire lifestyle.

we pulled up to the front gate and they opened the gate and then a driveway.Sheesh where the hell am I. when I woke up I noticed that I was in a car with three other men Some Bulky bald guy that was driving , A man in the passenger seat that looked like a greek god with Grayish Blue eyes and Then the last one the one sitting next to me and Nico I couldn't really see his face tho.

Every single passing minute from the time I woke up I could feel his strong piercing gaze just coming at me And Nico but every time I would look back at him he would already be turned back to the window as if he was never staring at me, He is a pretty strange man but at the same time he intrigued me more than any other man has ever done so in my life time.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even notice them get out of the car and now it was just me and Nico , We stayed in the car and just sat back looking at the Setting around me and everything about the place just gave me a very conforming vibe we were not surrounded by the noise of the city it was peaceful, Tall trees all around the place like as if it were just us and nobody else around else, As if we were the last people on earth.

I stopped my thoughts as I saw the man that was driving come back to my door and open the door as he told me to follow him and I did holding on to Nicolette as tightly as I could without waking her.

As we walked through the house more like Mega Mansion everything just matched but when I was outside In the car I also noticed all the way to the Right their was sort of like a greenhouse with a bunch of plants and other things.It sure is nice to be rich huh .I Kept following the man as We made it upstairs and into a pretty cozy room.

the Room had a huge canopy bed in the middle with a matching crib to the left of the room, before I could complete scanning the room the man walked out as he closed the door behind him then locking it, I guess this time I really am screwed and I am pretty sure that there is no way out of this one , Before I got stuck in my thoughts I managed to put Nico in the crib as I looked around the room.

The Room hand everything my 2 floor house had in just one single room, If the room was so big I just imagined how huge the house was in general, I kept looking around until I came to the Closet it was just as huge, It was lined up with glass doors with just a few clothes behind the doors and a island in the middle with a glass countertop and a bunch of fancy looking drawers that lit up whenever you opened them and There was a few pieces of jewelry inside of them nothing that crazy just Some bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings.In the back wall of the closet I could see a Shit ton of baby necessities such as Dresses , Pants , Hair Bows ,Medicine , ointments ,Diapers ,Wipes
,Formula,Bottles,Pacifiers, and basically everything else you would need for a baby it basically looked like the Baby section of target with how much stuff there was was.

I walked out of the closet and sat on the bench in front of the bed but instead of thinking of the situation I was in I found myself thinking something that just Brought me close to tears, How was it possible that a complete stranger could give my daughter the exact same life that I have been trying very hard to give her in the past year of her being born and this person could give it to her in the blink of an eye, How the hell did I fail so much as a mom? I let her father hit her without doing anything. I walked over to the crib and Kissed her forehead as I whispered as tears began to fall " I'm sorry Nicolette you didn't deserve this, I am sorry".

As I was standing up at her crib I felt her wake up as I grabbed her and sat down on the bad and watched her stare in Awe at the room she was completely mesmerized before someone knocked on the door and I grabbed Nico as I went to go open the door.

When I opened it was a pretty old Women in a maids outfit, People really have maids , I thought that was like rich people humor I guess not. "Hello ma'am , I am here to Give you and your Daughter Your dinner, It is Lasagna and a fruit salad with some water for you Ma'am and Then 2 options for the young miss , a sweet potato Purée with a sippy cup of juice or a Milk bottle, The boss did not know what her diet was so he told us to give her those two options, If you'll excuse me" She finished as she walked out but before she walked out I managed to stop her.

"uh hello Ma'am,Who is your boss exactly?" I asked her with a pretty intrigued look on face. " I am sorry I cannot say" was all she said before rushing out of the door , closing it , then locking it again but when she said that she looked pretty terrified if she would say something wrong.

Who the hell is her ,'boss'? and Why was she so scared of him? Should me and Nico be scared too?
