Chapter 9

Leonardo's POV

She's been at the house for over 2 weeks at so far we only talked 2 days ago but I want to get to know more about her, she intrigues me.

From what I know Elena went up to go talk to her but she didn't really get a lot out of her so I guess I'm gonna go, But from what I am noticing she is a pretty shut out person , every single day for the pass week we have all been having dinner together but she never comes down neither her or Nicolette, I'm honestly worried , Jesus Christ what is happening to me.

I got up out of my desk chair and walked over to her room and I knocked on her door but there was no answer for a few minutes so I thought that she was sleeping since it was pretty late so I just walked away but I was stopped with her opening the door and there she was precious Katerina Leones.

"Yes?" She asked
"Hello Katerina I was wondering if you would want to go on a walk since we haven't really talked at all since you got here or we'll um since you got brought here" I asked while rubbing the back of my neck nervously and I guess she noticed cause she gave me a small smirk and went to grab Nicolette surprisingly she was not asleep at all.

We walked over to the indoor garden my mom had built in the house when I was younger and as soon as we stepped inside both Katerina and Nicolette looked around both lost in thought then Katerina snapped back into reality and smiled at me. Dammit

We walked over to the bench and sat down as Nicolette played with her toys in Katrina's lap.

"Tell me about yourself Katerina" I offered

"Well let's be honest Leonardo what don't you know about me already , you even have my freakin shoe size" she joked

"Well I may know a lot but I don't know you I just know things about you , I want to know you"

"Well what do you wanna know Leonardo" she asked

"Everything"

When I finished saying that she looked at me like as if I was speaking gibberish like as if nobody had ever taken the time to listen to her , her whole life.

"Um alright then let's talk I guess, Well as you know my parents died when I was younger but me and my brother survived and a nice British family adopted my twin while I got stuck with my abusive aunt and she made me study abroad which is where I met my best friend Alice and where I met Nicolettes Dad Sebastian , we were together for a while before I got pregnant and When I told him all of a sudden a work trip showed up and he was gone for my whole pregnancy so the only people I had were Alice and Alexandra , after I had her that's when he came back but when he came back he was not the same at all he was different , he hit me a lot which I were I got the bruises on my arm from and were I got the scar on my face from but he never hit me in front of Nicolette but he did hit her one time when I tried to leave and we'll after that I was trapped and I couldn't get out but then I "escaped" as one may call it and then that's where you and the rest of the boys found me-  , oh I'm sorry I'll stop ranting I bet that you don't wanna hear any of that crappy stuff " she stopped

I went to cup her cheek and she flinched but then she leaned her face into my hand "sorry force of habit" she reassured me , I pulled back and grabbed her hand into mine.

"Listen Katerina, I will never get tired of hearing you talk ever so do not apologize and as for Sebastian don't worry I'll make sure that you get your revenge on him , I swear it" I kissed her hand as we both got up and started walking back to her room.

As we were walking I felt something tugging on my shirt and it was Nicolette holding her arms out for me to carry and I carefully grabbed her and put her in my arms and by the time we made it to their room she was asleep in my arms and I went inside and placed her on the bed but before walking out Katerina grabbed me and hugged me as she whispered
"Thank you for listening to me"

"Your welcome Katerina , now go to bed we have a early and long flight tomorrow" I told her

"Where are we going?" She asked with a very confused look on her face

"Well home , did you think that this was my house?" I chuckled and walked out leaving her confused.

After leaving Katerina's room I made my way downstairs to the basement where we were holding Sebastian and when I walked into the vault there he was all tied up and bloody , I grabbed a bucket of water and splashed it on him as I grabbed a extra chair and placed it in front of him and as soon as he woke up he started yelling

"LET ME OUT OF HERE YOU ASSHOLE I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOU AND I DO NOT OWE ANYONE ANYTHI-" I cut him off

"Shut the fuck up before you wake the girls up and if you do that , trust me she won't be the only one hurting you"

"who the hell are you talking about? What girls?" He commented

"Who else do you think , your precious Katerina and Nicolette and well my sister too , don't wake them up so shut the fuck up before I cut your tongue out or would you rather me pull out your teeth? It's your choice" I asked him and chuckled as he stayed silent shaking in fear

"Listen man I didn't do anything I swear it to you I promise I would never hurt them" he told me

"At this point you are starting to annoy me Sebastian , you don't have to lie either , I know that you have been hitting Katerina and at one point you hit Nicolette so listen this time I am going to let you off with two bullets in each of your legs for lying to me and well Katerina can figure out what else she wants to do to you" after that I walked away as I told Mario and Alex to go and shoot him

"Also Sebastian you get one last good meal before you are in a shipping container for a good 18 hours so make a good choice" I smiled and walked out

Then the two gunshots went off  and All I did was smile , that's what you get asshole.
