.Chapter 14.

Leonardo's POV

"Alright Now that everyone is down here let's talk about yesterday,Before we start does anyone have any evidence that can get us started?" i asked everyone

"Yeah, I do" Katerina said pulling out her phone and showing me a picture

"What's this katerina?" i questioned

"The man who was following us, That was the uniform he had on and that's the trash can that was in the same parking lot where your car was, So that means that he got out from the same place as us, which mean the cameras caught him and the getaway car" She said as she played with Nico

"You're right that's true" i said to her

"Elena Pull up the cameras from yesterday from 1 to 5" I told elena

She pulled the camera and as we looked at it, There was nothing there it was just an empty parking lot not even my car was there.I told her to get the right cameras but she said that it was the right camera for Lot 6. We were all confused as to why there was nothing there.

"Guys, That's not the camera from yesterday" Katerina blurted out, even elan was confused

"Katerina what do you mean" Elena asked her

"Its a green screen put the time to 4:30 and slow it down as much as you can" she said as she walked up with nico fast asleep in her arms

"There, look you can see the green screen glitch as the green screen shows up" she pointed and holy shit she was right

"How the hell did you figure it out?" Elena asked her

"I don't really know, I just saw the Glitch that's all" she said

Elena was amazed, nobody has ever been to solve anything before her except me Of course but i wouldn't say it out loud. She managed to get the Green screen and there it was, My car and The man who was following us getting into his getaway car and we managed to get his license plate but it was under two different names and they were named: Sebastian cortez and Belle Armaratti

As soon as Elena read the names, Katerina Had a sudden Change of expression from Calm to Mad.

"Katerina, Do you know one of those people?" I asked her

"Yeah i know Sebastian cortez" she said

"Oh great, Who is he?" I asked her

"That's Nicolette's Father" she said and as soon as she said those words i was both full with anger and Confused

That man was locked under the basement so how the hell is one of the names his.

My train of thoughts broke when I saw Katerina pick her up and ask me to take her back to Nicolette's room and I did .

"let's end the meeting here" i said as i walked katerina to Nicolette's room

Once we got to the room Nicolette was sound asleep by the time we got there and Katerina placed her in her crib and walked out of the room to where I was, I figured that she didn't want to talk to anyone.

"Your room is right there by the way" i tried to tell her but she cut me.

"Leonardo I am sorry if this is too much to ask, Do you mind listening to me just once more?" She asked and i cupped her cheeks and she placed her hands on mine

"Katerina my love , i've told you before i could listen to you talk for hours so yes of course we can talk, Where in the house would you like to talk?" I asked her

"Well, Can we talk in the garden?" She asked

I shook my head yes and grabbed her hand as we made it down to the Garden and sat on one of the benches and i noticed it was a bit cold so i grabbed my jacket and placed it on top of her and she thanked me

"Whenever you are ready im here" i told her as we both looked up at the stars

"I'm just tired of it Leonardo, I'm tired of having to live in fear of one day that he will come back and eventually hurt me again, I've been abused my whole damn life first by my aunt when my parents died and Then by Nicolette's father, I just don't understand why does the Worst stuff happen to the most forgiving people? , i have no clue what the hell i did to deserve , That man even hit my daughter Leonardo and i couldn't help her because of the fear of what he could have done to me, i'm just done" she finished and by now she was Balling her eyes out, She really did not deserve all of the stuff that has happened to her. I turned to her and pulled her in for a hug as i planted a kiss on her head.

Katerina's POV

He has actually been someone that has made me feel safe other than Alice and Alexandra. I really appreciated the fact that he actually listened to me.

I had my face on his chest as I cried, finally letting out the emotions I've been holding in, I felt him place a kiss on my head before I looked up and we locked eyes. His eyes filled with curiosity, He's probably thinking that a girl like me shouldn't have to experience this pain. Everyone thinks the same thing when they see me.They see me as a pity case.

From one moment to another he cupped my face and caressed my face.He was So Warm that I just melted into his touch without thinking twice about it.He grabbed my chin with his thumb and index finger forcing me to Look at him in his eyes.

"Katerina,What are you doing to me?" He asked me and then Our lips met and I didn't pull away. I liked the way his lips felt placed on mine as if we were made for eachother,They were longing to be reunited again.

We Both broke the kiss and I just leaned my forehead on to his and sighed with my eyes closed and asked him

"Leonardo The question is ,What are we doing to each other?"
