Back on the boiling isles

The party

(Hey guys so I read a Lumity story last night and cried cuz the ending so I'm trying to get that off my mind bye writing)

Amity POV:
Ed, Em and I had already set up everything for the party. It would start in about a half hour "hey mittens you should go upstairs and get dressed for the party." Em said "Yeah you really can't wear your school uniform to a party." Ed chimed in. "Ok,I will be down in 10." I walked upstairs and into my room. I swung open the closet door and looked at my clothes 'what would make Luz look and me and say wow' I thought.

'What the hell Amity, it doesn't matter what she thinks' I scoffed at myself. Then I pulled out a black crop top and a pink skirt. I looked in the mirror. Party's really were not my thing, they never had been but it was a part the whole fake personality I had put up over the past few years.

I walked down stairs and into the living room where my to siblings were. Emira looked at me and smiled, "oh is mittens trying to impress someone, maybe a certain human girl?" Emira wiggled her eyebrows. My face went red "I-I... Do you Want me to light you on fire!" She shrugged but backed away.

just then the door opened and Boscha walked in "hey losers, I'm here." Edric looked at her "yeah I can see that but you didn't even knock. "Do I need to?" She said pulling out her scroll and she sat down on the couch. Edric ignored her and went back to putting snacks out.

I glanced up and clock, the party would start in just about 5 minutes. I could feel a small bit of anxiety set in, but I tried to shrug it off.

The time went by fast and before I knew it thare were 30 or so high schoolers in my living room. I was still waiting for the one I had on my mind to show up though. I sat on the couch staring at the door. I got up and was about to get a drink then the door opened too Luz and Willow standing there.

Luz had on a navy blue t-shirt that was clearly to big for her the ripped jeans she had on the other day but along with it a belt in the bi flag colors. Did that mean she liked girls the thought I might have a shot made my face a bit red. I shook that thought stupid thought away quickly though and walked over to them. "Hey Willow, Hey Noceda " my tone was a bit higher as I said hi to Luz. Willow smiled and nodded at me and then walked away over to Boscha,(idk how feel about boshlow but it fit so in using it) leaving the conversation to me and Luz.

I looked up at luz and noticed her beanie was gone. "Where did your hat go." I asked pointing to were her hat usually was  she laughed and rubbed the back of her neck 'got her laugh was so pretty' "i tripped on my way here and my shirt got covered in dirt and mud. Luckily Willow was coming to the party to and saw me so she gave me one of her shirts to wear. But my beanie was really dirty so I left it behind." "Oh" I said they continued there conversation

Luz and I had been talking for a good 30 minutes at least. Then a random guy walked up to us. he shoved in between me and Luz. "Hey I thought you looked really sexy so I got you a drink." He said to me. I looked at him and shook my head " Thanks, but I don't take drinks from strangers." He took a few steps closer to me. "We don't have to be strangers, we can get really close" he said winking at me. I put my hand out pushing him back a little "I said No" he looked at me smirking "oh come on hottie, I know that you are playing hard to get but can you ple-"  he was cut off by Luz "hey buddy my girl just said to leave her the hell alone, so go" Luz swung her arm over my shoulder and pulled my close to her. My face went red.  " your girl, yea right." He said laughing. 'I should make this believable' I thought. "Yea I'm her girl" I said with confidence as I leaned up and kissed Luz on the cheek, her face going a little red. He looked at us with a disgusted look,dropped one of the cups on the ground and walked away.

I looked at Luz smiling "thanks Noceda" I said "no problem Blight, I'm your fearless champion remember" I smiled at the memory. We stared into each other's eyes until Emira caught our attention. she was standing on the table "time for truth or dare, if your gunna play you can stay if not get out" she shouted. Luz looked at me "well sense I don't feel like leavening want to play truth or dare."
