Blood Rose (Murderer RWBY)

Ruby Rose walks alone on a sidewalk in Vale, passing by many homes and businesses that are closing up and turning off their lights for the night. Ruby has a bag of strawberry cookies and a few other things for Weiss, Yang, and Blake when she gets back to Beacon. Tomorrow was Weiss's birthday, so what she got for her is for tomorrow, not tonight. Ruby smiles when thinking about it.

Weiss's party will have cake, ice cream, and plenty of cookies! Also, all their friends will be there, it's gonna be great!

Ruby soon passes by the closed shop called From Dust Till Dawn. She stops for a moment to look at the Dust shop. Ah the memories. This was where she first ran into Roman Torchwick and her chapter of being a student at Beacon Academy had begun. While Torchwick is still at large, Ruby is confident that she and her team will catch him soon.

??: Get away from me!

Ruby hears a man yell out in panic. She turns her head to the left to see a man with red hair with white highlights running towards her but looking back, not seeing Ruby in front of him. The man crashes into her, causing both of them to fall to the ground. Ruby lands on her rear and feels a headache coming because of the man's head hitting hers.

Ruby: Ow....

Ruby rubs her head as the man quickly gets back up. He helps Ruby back up.

Man: S-sorry miss!

The two then hear a woman's voice approaching them. It sounds so... ominously calm yet crazy.

??: Who's that girl you're with? Do you know her?? Do I need to kill her?!

Ruby sees the man's eyes widen in terror.

Man: Shit shit!

Ruby looks behind the man to see a young woman approaching them. She has blue hair and is wearing a Beacon uniform, but Ruby doesn't recognize the girl. But she can tell that this student had a crazed look in her eyes.

Man: Miss, RUN!

The man runs past Ruby, leaving her to the Beacon student. Ruby stands her ground as the student stops and she sees Ruby more properly. She develops a crazed grin on her face.

Student: Well well, Ruby Rose. I've heard about you.

Ruby clenches her fists and slowly reaches for Crescent Rose behind her waist.

Ruby: I'm sorry, but who are you?

Student: Oh, my name is Misty. I'm a couple years ahead of you, so you not knowing me is understandable. Hehe...

The girl giggles a little psychotically, causing Ruby to feel uneasy.

Misty: Tell me, do you happen to know that man that just passed you?

Ruby: Not a clue.

Misty: Ah, well, that's good. I would hate to kill such a...famous student, such as yourself.

Ruby: K-kill??

Ruby looks at Misty more closely from where she's standing. She suddenly goes pale as she notices blood on Misty's face, uniform, and hands. She also notices a bloody knife in Misty's hands.

Misty looks at where Ruby's looking and suddenly she gasps.

Misty: Oh dear, I guess whether you knew my beloved or not is irrelevant now.

She then giggles.

Misty: Oh well.

Misty suddenly launches herself towards Ruby, causing the latter to pull out Crescent Rose. However, because of how quick the girl moved, Ruby didn't have time to have the scythe transform, so its storage mode was used to block a stab from Misty's knife aim for her throat. Ruby then uses her semblance and speeds over next to one of the Dust shop's windows and transforms her scythe's rifle mode and quickly starts firing at Misty.
