At the Beacon Courtyard, Weiss and the rest of team RWBY are hanging out by a tree. Ruby is happily munching on cookies, Yang is sleeping by the tree, and Blake is reading a book. Weiss on the other hand, is just sitting around bored. There's no homework, no projects or anything that she can be doing because it's already all done.
"Hey Weiss." Ruby says to catch her teammate's attention. Weiss looks at her leader only to see a cookie coming at her. She tries to grab the cookie but is too slow and gets hit in the face. The cookie bounces off her face and onto her lap as Ruby bursts out laughing while Weiss looks at her with fire in her eyes. Weiss looks at the cookie to see it is a raisin cookie, adding fuel to the fire.
"A raisin cookie, Ruby?!" Weiss exclaims at Ruby.
"I don't like raisin cookies that much. So I thought you should have it." Ruby responds with a smile and playful wink.
"I'll make you eat this cookie Miss Rose..." Weiss says as she stands up and walks to the Little Red Riding Hood.
"Uh oh." Ruby quickly stands up and starts running away.
"GET BACK HERE!" Weiss screams at Ruby and chases after her.
Yang then wakes up and notices Ruby and Weiss are gone. "Hey, where did Ruby and Weiss go?" She asked Blake, who was still reading her book.
"Ruby threw a cookie at Weiss and now she's running from her." Blake states bluntly without looking up from her book.
"Oh...so the usual?" Yang says to Blake. Blake simply smirks before Yang goes back to sleep.
Meanwhile, Weiss is chasing Ruby down the courtyard towards the landing pads. Ruby activates her semblance to get further away from Weiss. In response, Weiss uses her glyphs to launch herself at Ruby at high speed. Just as she was catching up to Ruby, the team leader then makes a curve around someone. Weiss tries to stop herself but ends up tripping and crashes into the person Ruby maneuvered away from. Weiss finds herself on top of a girl with long cyan hair and she was wearing an irregular turtleneck overcoat.
"Ow..." the girl says as her eyes roll around as she sees stars in her vision. The girl's vision clears up and notices the cute girl on top of her and she blushes a little. "Uh....hi?"
"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry!" Weiss quickly stands up blushing in embarrassment. She offers her hand to the girl to help her and they take it. "Are you okay?!"
"No broken bones so I'm good." The girl says with a grin. Weiss sighs in relief that she won't be paying someone's hospital bill today. She then sees Ruby trying to sneak past them.
"RUBY ROSE!!!" Weiss shouts at the caped huntress in training. Ruby squeaks and runs away again. Weiss looks at the girl and bows respectively before running off. "Sorry again!" She says as she runs off.
The girl smirks as she picks up her duffle bag that she dropped and walks towards Beacon Tower. When she reaches the entrance of the large tower, she is met by a beautiful blonde woman with glasses. The woman adjusts her glasses and checks her tablet. "Cyan Varg? I'm Professor Goodwitch, welcome to Beacon."
"A pleasure to be here ma'am. I look forward to learning here!" Cyan says with enthusiasm. Glynda gives a stoic nod before leading her inside to the dorms.
"So I am to understand another person from Atlas is coming to attend at Beacon as your partner correct?" Glynda asks Cyan.
"Yep, she had some stuff to sort out back home so that's why she didn't arrive with me today. She should be here in a day or two," Cyan states. Goodwitch nods before stopping at a dorm room. She taps on her tablet and Cyan's scroll rings. Cyan pulls out the scroll and sees a class schedule sent to her. Goodwitch opens the door to an empty standard dorm room.
"Due to the circumstances of your transfer not including a full team, you and your partner will be the only two members of your team until we find another available pair to put into your team. In the meantime, you will attend classes as normal but you will be restricted in the kinds of training missions you're placed in unless you shadow another full team. Are we clear on this matter?" Goodwitch says as the two walk into the room and Cyan puts her duffle bag down on a bed.
"Crystal clear, ma'am," Cyan responds, prompting the professor to nod.
"Then I look forward to seeing you in class tomorrow Miss Varg" Goodwitch says before walking out of the room and shutting the door. Cyan sighs and crashes on her new bed.
"Is she from Atlas Academy? Goodness gracious, she acts like my teachers back home." She says to herself. Cyan then sits up and starts unpacking her duffle bag and lays her sword on a desk and her clothes in a drawer. Afterwards, she sits at the desk and tinkers with her sword's hilt and inner workings until nighttime where she gets ready for bed and lays down.
"I wonder if I will see that cute girl again tomorrow," she says to herself and goes to sleep.
Meanwhile, Ruby is being force fed raisin cookies by Weiss in their room while Blake and Yang casually do other stuff, not even fazed by Ruby's torture she brought on herself.
