Jane and I were looking for where the sound actually came from, it sounded so loud but then it become slower, it almost sounded like a child crying. "Jane, you should go look at the backyard while I'll check on the yard."  I told her. "Uh no, I should search in the front of the house. You go look in the backyard." Jane said and continued walking on to the yard.  I just heading to the backyard and looked for where that strange and loud sound came from.

I tried to approach the bush near the house when the voice become clear back and its quite loud there. I flicked through the bushes and get startle and shocked to see what's in there.

I saw a boy crying and kneeling down in the bushes while holding a white cat with a different eyes color.

"Huh? Jaysper? What are you doing near here in the dark like this? What's happening?"  I said.  The boy just came out of the bush while carrying a white cat and he still didn't stop crying.  "I ju-just want-ted to save C-c-cas-per f-fr-from m-my D-d-da-dad. Dad wa-wants to ki-kill Cas-casper and-and th-then throw him a-away."  Said the boy sobbing. "Enough Jaysper, calm down. Let's go in first. It's not good for us to be outside at times like this."  I said then held Jaysper's hand, trying to calm him down and brought him into the house.

I took Jaysper to the kitchen and told him to sit at the kitchen counter for a while then I went to the yard to call Jane. After Jane and I entered the house, I sat next to Jaysper and Jane went to turn on the kitchen light so that it was bright enough for us to talk.

"So, your name is Jaysper huh?" said Jane. The boy just nodded in agreement. Jane sat down in front of Jaysper and handed him a glass of water. Jaysper thanked her and sipped the water until it ran out.  "C-can you give me mo-more water again? I wa-want to give it to Casper, he must be ve-very thirsty just like m-me." His words are still stuttered but have decreased than before as he handed the glass back to Jane.  Jane just nodded understanding as she took the glass back from Jaysper's hand and poured water into the glass and into the bowl as well to give to Jaysper and the white cat to drink.

Jaysper put his cat below and gave him a drink. Jaysper then drinks the water reserved by Jane. He looks like thirsty and tired.

We just let Jaysper take a deep breath and calm first before I asked him my question.

"Jaysper, what has happened? It is because of your father again?" I asked after seeing the face of this little one starts to be stable.

He just quiet for a while before he started saying, "Dad just came home from work earlier, he got drunk again and started saying that he di-did not like me and wanted to throw me into the woods. He said I was just bu-burdening him. He also said  that he wants to b-burn my beloved Casper and throw him in-into the lake. "  Jaysper said with tears starting to roll in his eyes.

"Is that why you ran here?"  I asked and Jaysper just nodded.  "I-i remem-member you saying to me before to just straight come here if my father started to-to do-doing s-s-some-th-thing c-cruel." He said again and start to sobbing.  I started pulling Jaysper into my arms when I found out that this boy was already starting to cry.

"Jaysper .. hey shushhh...listen to me first, right now, I want you to take a shower and change your clothes. Today you can just sleep here. You don't have to go home and think about your useless father. I have been waiting for you for a long time to come here. You can use the bathroom in my room, bring Casper to take a shower together with you. Your bodies are both dirty. Take a shower and then go to bed, I'll give you a shirt to change. Whatever happens today, we'll resume it in the morning when you wake up. Okay?" I said and Jaysper just agreed to my words.
