Backstage after the final song ended was a complete contrast to the roaring chaos just minutes ago.

Silence.

The only sounds left were deep breaths, the shuffle of tired footsteps, and the occasional creak of equipment being wheeled away. The members had peeled off their earpieces and mics, sweat clinging to their skin, makeup slightly smudged from hours under the lights. But no one said anything.

They were drained — physically, emotionally.

Jungkook sat on the floor, leaning against the wall, head tilted back with his eyes already closed. His chest rose and fell slowly, his jacket half-zipped like he’d started but gave up midway.

Taehyung had collapsed onto a nearby couch, one arm draped over his eyes to block out the light. The ends of his hair were still damp with sweat.

Jimin was curled up next to him, using Taehyung’s leg as a pillow, completely passed out.

Namjoon was still pacing quietly, towel around his neck, lost in his thoughts.

Yoongi sat on a trunk case with his hands clasped, eyes down, breathing steady. He wasn’t asleep—but he looked miles away.

Hoseok rested on the bench beside their changing cubbies, elbows on his knees, looking at the ground. He hadn’t moved in a while.

Even Y/N, who had come in quietly, felt the tension thick in the air. It wasn’t just exhaustion—it was the weight of everything that had happened.

Then, Jin stood. His back straight despite the fatigue on his face, his voice calm but clear.

“Alright,” he said, looking around. “Whatever happened today—we’ll talk about it tomorrow.”

He glanced at each of them, his eyes soft but commanding. “We’re all too tired to think straight right now. So rest. We’ll deal with everything else after.”

Namjoon finally stopped pacing and gave a small nod. “He’s right.”

Yoongi blinked out of his daze and exhaled. “Tomorrow,” he muttered in agreement.

No one argued.

There was a collective, unspoken understanding—tonight wasn’t the time.

Y/N looked around the room, watching their faces. Some asleep, some barely holding on. And for a second, she felt something tighten in her chest. Whatever storm was coming next... it could wait.

For now, they just needed peace.

Y/N stayed quiet, standing off to the side, watching them from behind as they prepared to leave. She didn’t belong in their post-concert silence, not really. Not after what had happened. Not after the tension still lingering thick in the air.

When the staff announced the van had arrived, everyone moved at once.

Namjoon walked in front, leading the group toward the exit. One by one, the members trailed after him, Jimin yawning, Taehyung dragging his feet dramatically, and Jungkook pulling his hoodie over his head without a word. Hoseok lingered near the back but didn’t look at Y/N.

She was the last to follow, trailing behind them all.

Just as she was about to step through the exit—

“Y/N.”

A hand gently gripped her wrist.

She turned, startled, and found Namjoon standing a few feet away from the others, eyes calm but unreadable.
