Where am I? Who am I? What is even happening? All of my questions swarm in my head as I lay on the ground. Sitting up I take in my surroundings. A dark cage. Some boxes. No other souls.
My metal cage starts plunging in an upward motion toward a sliver of light. A loud clash sounded and I stumbled from the impact.
The doors to the crate open and I'm blinded by the sunlight. All I can see are shiloetes of dozens of people. Men? Whoever they are, I feel claustrophobic. My eyes adjust a bit.
I don't feel well.
I try to focus on some one, we make eye contact... I think. Everything goes into a haze, and I can feel my body loosing strength. I can't keep my eyes open.

She looks up at me like a scared puppy. Grey eyes pleading at mine. She lost consciousness.
The quiet turned to chaos all around me.
"A Girl?!?"
"I call dibs!"
"Why would they send us a girl?"
"Awe man now we're dead for sure!"
I don't know what to think. I quickly turned my confusion to action.
"All right everyone, back to work! Everything is ok" I say. Alby helps me clear the circle and we help lift the girl out. Blonde hair, fit, looked about my age (17). Defenetly a female.
"She must have been sent by the creators for a reason" Alby says on our walk back to our makeshift buildings.
"I'm thinking the same thing." I look down at the limp figure I am carrying. "And I suppose she will need her own space?"
"Yes, yes I believe your right. While we build her a separate room, could you lend her your bed?" Asks Alby. I give him a confirming nod. It would only be a couple nights, and I want her to be as comfortable as possible. Who knows what a load of shanks would do if we put her in the hammocks.
A jult comes from the girl and her grey eyes snap open.
