"you may now kiss the bride."
cheers filled the church as jake pulled ava into his arms, his hand holding her chin as the two kissed.
after the long kiss, the two pulled apart and looking into each other's eyes, they both cracked the brightest smile ever.
they were finally married.
all these years of knowing each other, going to school, experiencing both love and heartbreak, taking time to work on themselves, and learning how to love their selves, they both had each other's hands in marriage now.
"congratulations!" rosie exclaimed, giving the two a hug.
the bridesmaids, groomsmen, along with ava and jake were in the limousine to the reception hall to make sure everything was ready.
rosie, jisoo, and five of ava's closest girl friends were her bridesmaids, while jake's six debuted friends were the groomsmen.
he had wished to have all 23 boys be a part of the wedding, but some of them had to part their own ways. however, some of them did attend the wedding in support.
brooklyn on the other hand, was their flower girl, jake's little cousin the ring boy. they weren't in the limousine though, but went home with jake's mom to rest before the reception.
"we're married now," ava whispered, her head leaning on jake's shoulder.
"i know .. i can't believe it," jake replied back, brushing the stray strands of hair out of her face, "you look absolutely beautiful today."
"do i?" ava asked, lifting her head up to look into his eyes.
"you do," jake smiled, "as always."
ava smiled back, "and you .. you look extremely handsome today .. just as always."
jake sighed and held ava's hand, "i'm so in love with you. i can not imagine myself marrying anyone else."
"good," ava cheekily reply, "i hope you never imagine marrying someone else because that'll be the end of you."
"you can't even hurt a fly," jake chuckled.
ava sighed, "why do you always have to be right?"
"but i love you too," she smiled, "you're perfect for me."
ava rested her head back on jake's shoulder as he placed his head on top of his.
jay cleared his throat, gaining their attention. the two noticed how everyone in the limousine had their eyes on the two.
"here," heeseung spoke, handing ava and jake a glass of champagne, "let's make a toast to our newlyweds."
ava laughed, taking the two glasses and handing one to jake.
"speaking for all," heeseung began, "we truly wish you a happy, strong marriage. i think we all see how deeply in love you two are for each other. may we wish you the happiness and wealth you two deserve, along with whatever you personally wish for. to ava and jake!"
"to ava and jake!" everyone cheered before drinking.

"ladies and gentlemen, i ask that you put all of your attention on the main stage," the host spoke, "as we all know, ava and jake have a long history. they've done everything together, including dancing. although this may not be their first dance, they've still decided to do the tradition.""just like any other, here is mrs. lee and mr. shim with their first dance," the host introduced as the music cued.
"best part" by daniel caesar began playing and the newlywed couple had their arms around each other, looking into each other's eyes.
"this is only the beginning," jake spoke, "i can't wait to wake up in the morning, knowing that you're my wife."
ava let out a slight laugh and smiled, "is waking up next to me while i'm your girlfriend and waking up next to me while i'm your wife different?"
"well of course it is," jake replied, releasing ava into a spin and pulling her back into his arms.
"ava lee .. is my wife," jake spoke more to himself before chuckling, "wow .. ava lee is my wife."
ava laughed at how adorable, yet cheesy jake was acting before placing her cheek against his chest and continuing to sway back and forth with him.
"i love you," the two whispered in unison.
