One single and distinctive year later..

Flashback
Seattle, Washington 8pm

The blonde beauty with her tantalizing aura and her gentle soul changed the way she lived her life and made a decision for herself to benefit herself and only herself, even when it meant bearing pain amongst others she truly and deeply cared about. It was the biggest change she could ever inquire in her life and with the weight of everything buried on her shoulders, she had to run and give the change a chance, for it was her greatest skill and she knew it all too well to understand the depths of what was considered morally right and wrong in the situation and in her eyes this was morally right. Rushing back to her dorm to pack all of her things as she slammed her door shut and locked it for privacy in her own world, she felt a sense of adrenaline and push for a passion she never knew could take her this far and for once she wasn't gonna put it on the back burner, she was gonna go for it as if it was the last piece of her she could ever offer to this convoluted world. She didn't hold back and she wasn't going to for a very long time so she carried that intention with her and removed herself from the depths of disparity caused just hours ago to pursue a new and developed life where she could be anyone she wanted and let go of baggage. From one uber to the next, dragging her suitcases and backpacks through the crowded airport Ayla Teslermabe did what anyone would do if they were given the opportunity of a lifetime, hop on the next plane and shake hands to make things official and so she did.  Through a six and a half our flight and much needed reflection and contemplation, Ayla had found herself roaming the city of Seattle with its pale grey skies and dark umber rain with wonder beneath her soul knowing damn well she was going to make a good living out of the brand new opportunity and for once it was her own choice. So it didn't matter if she was lost or used a silly old map and gps to find her way around the city, she took it all in with ease and poise and was nevertheless elated at what she was about to endure, even if it meant giving up some of the most prize possessions she called her home. This was the Ayla she truly wished to see and she was going all in. All in..

"Shit..what street is this? God stupid ass gps! The Uber was way more reliable than you! Ugh!" ayla whispers amongst herself, yelling at her phone as she makes her way through the crowded and rainy streets of Seattle in hopes of finding her apartment complex.

"Um sir?! Can you point me in the direction of Minor Avenue? I'm looking for Cascade Apartment Complex?!" she desperately asks a random guy who immediately brushes off her inquiry.

"Nope sorry can't help you and wouldn't help you if I had the chance" the guy bluntly stated as he instantly left as she sighs.

"Great! Thanks for no help.. Uh miss do you know where Minor Avenue is? I'm looking for Cascade Apartments and I'm just having a bit of trouble looking for them" she initially states to yet another passer byer in hopes of catching someone's attention.

"Sorry ma'am can't help you! Don't you have a phone? No one looks let alone owns a map for the city anymore! Greatest place to start is on your phone" the lady calls out to her as she walks directly pass her as Ayla once again is shit out of luck.

"Wow thanks, never thought about that before. I'll just take my almost dead phone and try to use google maps as if my phone wouldn't die the minute I opened the app! Really great idea!" she yells back sarcastically as she drags her luggage up the street with the intention that she would eventually reach the correct street.

With exhaustion and restlessness reigning over her entire body as she continued to walk through street after street of Seattle with no end sight near what she truly wanted to accomplish on her own, Ayla had begun to slow things down eventually leaning against a brick building next to a small coffee shop and its warm aura to finally catch a break. Looking at the time and contemplating spending more money on an Uber just to get around the city, she was stuck at odds and was struggling to make a decision already in the new environment and opportunity she placed herself in. Sure calling an Uber would make everything so much easier but it wasn't in her intentions to do so and for anyone who knew Ayla Teslermabe, they knew she was the type of person to stick to her intentions and never divert. So she did just that and got right back on her feet, looking for Minor Avenue and Cascade Apartments all night if it came down to it. Thankfully it didn't as her first miracle appeared in the form of yet another tall and tan, dark raven haired boy attempting to do what everyone did in the city, get somewhere.
