For as long as we both have each other's hearts, despite the fact that distance is a presumable factor, I will always love you. Cause in my eyes, we are infinite and it's going to take more than a single move to otherwise prove me wrong.

April 23rd, 8:00 amWith nothing but a weight on her plate as time had trickled down from days to hours in an attempt to tie the last sixteen years of her life into one final goodbye, the blonde beauty's mind was somewhere else. Far gone into the realm of reminisce, as photos of the life she once knew laid against the floor and milestones from previous bands were packed into boxes, Ayla had found herself overlooking the overarching picture in an attempt to avoid the real cost of doing what she truly loved to do. Weighing in the pros and cons was too much of a late task as the entire family of Anderson's shuffled in and out of the room she was just beginning to call her home. Although there was no turning back with the gap year finally completed and her exploration ceasing to exist amongst her rather detrimental state, the idea of Boston was not one that shifted her perception at all. Her worries lied amongst losing what she truly wanted to hold on to for the rest of her life; for she feared that slowly but surely she would lose the one entity that meant more to her than music itself and given the last few weeks and its mundane aura as her one and only surfer boy avoided any talk around the situation, her worries were only fueled further. To say the least, amongst all factors that had potentially made the last couple weeks stressful towards the move, his mind was somewhere else as well despite the fact that she initiated simple convos and embraces here and there with nothing truly in return. With that in mind and the few hours she had left amongst the Anderson household, she used her time to advantage finishing up her rounds of goodbyes as Jean made her way into the room.
"Knock, knock" Jean gently places her hand against the door through a smile, prompting Ayla to remove herself from her own gaze.
"Hey" ayla simply states through a slight smile as she places more pictures in a box.
Making her way to where Ayla had sat against her bed, gently sitting next to her, Jean pulled her close holding her hands.
"Hi hun, how's it going in here?...looks like you've made some pretty damn good progress in here.." Jean remarks, scanning the room and its hollow interior.
Tucking her hair behind her ears as she scanned the room for the first time in hours, she nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, I've been working nonstop...the flight is scheduled pretty early tomorrow so.." ayla mumbles through a nod, playing with her nails.
"That is a true statement, how are you holding up with the whole thing? Are you excited? Nervous?.. I mean it's a pretty huge step.. you're finally getting out of this whirlwind of a town" Jean teases through a nudge as she giggles slightly at the thought of it all.
Caught off guard with an initial glance down the hallway, centered directly around the boys and their extensive effort to put as many boxes in the car as possible in preparation of tomorrow, she had fixated her gaze along goldilock's motives; for he was truly the only one she was concerned for.
"I've been ok...just pushing through and focusing really hard on the pros instead of the cons, but that's not a question you should really be asking me jean. I don't really know how your son is holding up.." Ayla shrugs through a mumble, staring directly at Jack moving box after box outside.
